American defender on his way?

Arsenal are one of a number of clubs interested in American defender Matt Miazga, according to the Mail.
The 20-year-old has risen through the ranks at New York Red Bulls and is now first choice with the MLS side.
It is claimed Arsenal and Liverpool are keen on Miazga and could even strike a deal before the end of the window.
Miazga would likely join either club’s Under-21 side with the view to making the step-up to the first team.
