A robbery suspect knock down by his victim with a car

A robbery suspect met his untimely death yesterday when his victim allegedly knocked him down with his car shortly after they robbed him, unfortunately three of his gang members escaped.
An Eyewitness said the four-man robbery gang had allegedly blocked a man plying Obosi by-pass along the Onitsha-Owerri dual carriageway and robbed his personal belongings.

immediately after they robbed him and were trying to escape, the victim used his car to run over one of the suspects and the other three escaped, fortunately, the eyewitnesses the gathered and held the suspect then took him to the nearby Obosi police station where he died from his injuries.

The lifeless body of the robbery suspect was in front of the police station for about an hour before it was evacuated to a nearby mortuary.
The State Police Public Relations Officer, PPRO, DSP Ali Okechukwu, said he was yet to be briefed about the incident.
