up on how she felt the day Annie got the ring .

Christian Centre while admonishing attendees not to be
desperate said ,
" I remember the day when my baby daddy proposed to his
girlfriend, I was on the list of those that will take praise in
church for that Wednesday . Well I had known what was going
on but it didn 't affect me because I had known what I want,
so I had let go of that choice for God' s will for me .
So I came to church , I was leading the Praise session and
everyone was just looking at me with pity eyes like 'omo yi o
mo nkan ti on sele (this girl doesn ' t know what' s going on
o)'. After service , one sister even came to me and said It is
well and in my mind, I am like what happened , did somebody
die .
The person felt I was faking that I wasn ' t hurt by the proposal
but she and the others didn' t know I had been healed by God
for my own expected end. So don' t be desperate . That bobo

Why You Should Never Throw Away Orange or Banana Peels

Did you know the peels of some fruits hold some of
the most powerful nutrients in the world? There are
many uses, both medicinal and practical, for orange
and banana peels that aren't known by many. So, next
time you think about throwing away one of these peels,
you may want to remember this information.
ORANGE PEELS
It's always a good idea to minimize pesticide levels by
choosing organic oranges. Oranges tend to be grown
with lower pesticide usage than most fruits but a good
cleaning with 1 tablespoon of lemon juice and 1
tablespoon of white vinegar in 1 cup of water will
remove almost any pesticide with ease.
An Orange's peel and apple's skin are similar because
most of the nutrients are in the skin of these fruits.
According to Rebecca Wood, author of The New Whole
Foods Encyclopedia, "One medium orange contains
over 60 flavonoids and 170 different phytonutrients."
They are good for your skin, your system and your
home too. Dr. Jaishree Bhattacharjee, Ayurvedic
consultant with Satvikshop helps us find out it's
different uses.
Medicinal Properties of Orange Peels
As per Ayurveda, orange peel is tikta (bitter) and it
improves digestion and can speed up your metabolism.
It helps to naturally beat gas, heartburn, vomiting and
acidic eructation. It's also great to perk up your
appetite and relieve nausea.
Due to its pacifying properties, orange peel powder
helps dissolve phlegm in respiratory systems, alleviate
coughs, and asthma.
Most of the beneficiary aspects of orange peels come
from their essential oils, which have anti-microbial and
anti-inflammatory properties. Essential oil "d-limonene"
has the ability to defuse stomach acids and maintain
normal intestinal movements. It also promotes normal
liver function.
Studies have shown that orange peel can dissolve
cholesterol and triglyceride. That means consumption
of an orange peel can benefit obese people who have
high cholesterol levels. It has a flavonoid known as
hesperidine, which is said to be effective against colon
cancer and osteoporosis.
Essential oils from orange peels are sedative in nature
so it makes them great for calming nerves and
inducing sleep. Use orange peels in baths or simmer in
a pot to uplifting your mood or to beat insomnia
naturally.
Beauty Properties of Orange Peels
Rub some orange peels on your skin gently if you have
oily skin. Oily skin responds well to application of
orange peels. It helps balance the skin's oil and makes
your skin smoother and softer.
Dried orange peel beads can act as a natural exfoliator
by removing dead cells and blackheads gently and
naturally.
Orange peels help in removing dark spots and
blemishes.
Due to its cleansing, anti inflammatory, anti bacterial
and antifungal properties, it works well against pimples
and acne.
To remove damp or musky odor your house and fill it
with beautiful fragrance, boil a few peels in water and
maybe add some clove or cinnamon.
Orange Peels in Cooking
If you use organic peels in cooking the orange zest can
enhance the taste and flavour of many dishes.
Dried orange peels can absorb humidity from brown
sugar. Just place half a peel in the bag.
Candy made with orange peels can improve your
appetite and the vitamin c in them protects you by
boosting your immune system.
BANANA PEELS
Like oranges, make sure you use organic banana peels
to reduce your exposure to pesticide levels and you
may even want to try the wash described above
anyways.

vitamins, so they can naturally cure many ailments and

Armsgate : Metuh to commence his defence today

The National Publicity Secretary of the Peoples
Democratic Party, PDP, Olisa Metuh is expected to
open his defence today at the Federal High Court
Abuja.
Metuh is standing trial for charges bordering on
money laundering and corruption.
The PDP spokesman was accused by the Economic
and Financial Commission, EFCC, of receiving the
sum of N400m from the former National Security
Adviser, NSA, Col Sambo Dasuku (rtd.) which was
part of funds meant for the procurement of arms
for the military fighting insurgency in the north
east.
Metuh has, however, maintained his innocence
saying the money he received was used for
campaign publicity of the PDP during the last
general election.
During his trial, some of the prosecution witnesses
told the court that the former NSA paid the sum of
N400m into one Destra Investment Limited, a
company the embattled spokesman has stake in.
Following the conclusion of testimonies from the
witnesses, the justice Abang Okon led court had
initially fixed March 17 for Metuh to open his
defence but the matter was adjourned till today at
the instance of the defence lead counsel, Onyechi
Ikpeazu, SAN, who urged the court to set a new
date because he had to carryout an eye surgery.
Justice Abang held that the matter will commence
today unfailingly.
At the last hearing of the matter, a mild drama,
however, occurred as Metuh through one of his
counsels, Emeka Etiaba wrote to the Chief Judge of
the Federal High Court requesting that the trial
judge be changed, stating a number of reasons.
Acknowledging the receipt of the petition, Justice
Abang insisted that he will continue to precide over
the matter until the Chief judge makes his decision.

Rivers Re-run: Amaechi Came Noisily, Left Quietly — Wike

GOVERNOR Nyesom Wike on Tuesday
lauded President Muhammadu Buhari for distancing himself
from the re-run elections in the state, saying he did not
interfere with the exercise.
The governor who accused the Minister of Transportation, Mr
Chibuike Amaechi of allegedly plotting to rig the elections,
said the former governor came into the state noisily and left
quietly after results showed he could not deliver his
candidates.
Wike spoke in Government House, Port Harcourt while
addressing his party faithfuls.
The governor said the will of the people was stronger than
any military and police might, adding that some Abuja
politicians only came to intimidate the state with the name
of Mr President who maintained neutrality all through the
rerun elections.
"Amaechi plot to rig the rerun elections was for him to
rubbish the Supreme Court Judgement. He came back to the
state noisily, but left quietly and shamefully.
"No Army is stronger than the people. No police is stronger
than our people. How many times will they cancel elections
for the APC. Amaechi is not on ground in Rivers State ".
"Those who were overzealous during the rerun elections did
so without the knowledge of the president. "

GOD Is Angry With Buhari - Fayose

EKITI State governor, Mr Ayo Fayose, has alleged that there
are increasing cases of election violence leading to loss of
lives in the country because God is angry with President
Muhammadu Buhari.
Speaking to reporters is Abuja, on Tuesday, he accused the
president of being repressive towards his opponents and,
therefore, drawing the wrath of God.
"Power doesn't come from anywhere, God rules in the affairs
of men. Oppression, bringing and cutting people down,
dropping people, taking their blood on the ground, God is
angry.
"The way this government is taking people down, God is
angry. God isn't happy.
"Go to Rivers, they kill people. Go to Akwa Ibom, they kill
people. Go to Baylesa, they kill people. They incarcerate
innocent people. God is angry with Buhari. You can't
continue to take the blood of the innocent," he said.,
He said as a governor who had served under three separate
presidents, he was not afraid to speak out, saying that
nobody could tell where he would end up tomorrow.
"Look at my predictions for the year 2016 for Nigeria,
everything has come to pass. This is a different ball game.
He that will take me, he that will go against me must first of
all defeat God," said.
"We have seen so many things in this country and I am the
longest serving Nigerian governor. I served in Obasanjo's
administration. I served in Jonathan's era and I am serving in
Buhari's administration now.
"You want to try me with impeachment? They have done it
before. You want to try me with state of emergency? They
have done it before. You want to trap someone in the
building? They have done it before.
"I am an experienced man, I am fearless. The reason is that
great is He that is in me than he that is in them. And let me
remind you, if they have another person that they will join
with Buhari to get more forces, they will bow to this force
here. I am telling you the truth," he said.

Sokoto Govt To Pay Parents N5,000 Monthly For Sending Their Daughters To School

Sokoto Govt To Pay Parents
N5,000 Monthly For Sending
Their Daughters To School, in collaboration with the United Nations

pioneer scheme to provide enough role models for female
students, especially in rural communities in different parts of
the state.
The Female Train the Trainee scheme is being executed
under UNICEF's Girls Education Project (GEP3). It's main
aim is to train female teachers from rural areas who would
in turn go back to their communities and teach.
Giving an insight into the project when she led a team on a
sensitisation visit to the wife of the state Governor, Hajiya
Mariya Aminu Waziri Tambuwal, a Consultant overseeing the
implementation of the project, Maryam Usman Na'ibi, said
the GEP3 project also aims to get out of school rural
children back to school without further delay.
"We have discovered that among the reasons behind girls
dropping out of school children are poverty, religious
misconception, ignorance, cultural beliefs and insecurity.
Parents are afraid of sending their girl children to school
because of fear that they may be molested by male
teachers.
"So in order to reassure communities holding such
misconceptions, we decided to train female teachers from
among themselves who will in turn take the lead in teaching
children from their localities," she added.

state government and UNICEF introduced a cash transfer
programme where mothers or care givers get 5000 Naira

I Made Jonathan President Because I Believe It Will Strengthen Up Democracy – Obasanjo

Former President Olusegun Obasanjo has explained why he
helped Goodluck Jonathan become President of Nigeria in
2011.
Speaking during an interview session with VANGUARD
Obasanjo said, "I believe that Nigeria politics will be
strengthened even more if we have the opportunity to allow
the minority in its own right to emerge as President, and I do
not have any apology for anybody because the purpose I
wanted Nigeria to achieve had been achieved.
That any Nigerian can become president, it is not a regret for
Nigeria and for me because Nigeria gave him that
opportunity, he used, abused, misused as he wished and at
the appropriate time, Nigerians said thank you for what you
have done and what you have not done and Nigeria said bye
bye, which is the beauty of democracy".

We Used Almajiri Votes To Kicked Jonathan Out of Office – Kwankwaso

Rabiu Kwankwaso, governor of Kano state, says Almajiri
votes were responsible for kicking Goodluck Jonathan out of
the presidential villa in Abuja.
Kwankwaso decried the political play in the Peoples
Democratic Party (PDP), saying it has divided Nigerians
along religious and ethnic lines.
"It is unfortunate, in the last couple of years, we have seen a
polarisation situation, this issue of Christianity, Islam, north
and south, and even the issue of tribalism being promoted,"
he said.
"It was not good for the system – it was not even good for
my friend in the villa, so we are happy, we have seen the
end of it now."
The governor, who was speaking in an on-air interview with
Channels television, said the president did well for himself;
his party, the All Progressives Congress (APC); and the
nation at large by conceding election.
He went on to advise that the Muhammadu Buhari-led
administration must be willing to correct the ills and unite
the nation to keep peace and stability.
"We encourage Buhari to be what a president should be; to
carry along all the Christians, the Muslims and other people
of other faiths in this country.
"Ensure peace and stability, take everybody as his own; even
the PDP guys should be carried along by the president. The
president is the father of all.
"We hope that people around him should be people who are
experienced, who should not be talking of Hausas who are
thrown away as Almajiris. That is completely wrong, and it
has gone a long way in galvanising people in the north to
ensure that this Almajiri votes were used to kick them out of
the villa."
The former minister of defence who has been elected to go
to the next senate saw his state deliver 1.9 million votes for

Peter Okoye's tells it all interview is worth reading.. Exposes a lot about the problems within P-Square

While it seems the P-Square's feud is gradually being
resolved, Peter Okoye's tells it all interview has surfaced.
Peter granted an exclusive interview to the NetNG on
Thursday March 17 about the genesis of the problems within
P-Square, Jude Okoye and their wives. He talked about how
his brothers ganged up against him.
It is a very long interview but it's worth reading. Read below:
THE GENESIS OF THE ISSUE:
The issue was the fact that I was in Psquare and it felt like I
was in fear. If I don't do this, Psquare will break-up, if I don't
do that, Psquare will scatter.'Four years ago, I told Jude that
he needs to step down as our manager, because I didn't
want to disrespect him as a brother, but this is business, we
have to structure it. And Jude said to me that there's a way
I'll talk to him, and he'll slap me. So I kept quiet'.
'So, a few hours after, Paul came to me and said if I want
Jude to step down it's not a problem, but it'll mean that he
(Paul) will go solo. The the first time word got out about
Psquare breaking up, a lot of people called us, senators,
governors, and people like that. In fact three of us were once
in a private jet to go and see someone who wanted to
resolve our issues and we didn't speak to each other all
through the flight. At the end of the day, I swallowed my
pride for peace to reign and allowed Jude to remain as our
manager'.
ON LIVING WITH PAUL
I and Paul stay together in this estate and the last time I saw
him was about a week ago.'Truth is, I've not been in talking
terms with Paul since December 2015 and that was why I
travelled in January because I had a lot on my mind.
Something happened at Mavin Studios last year that broke
my heart.
ON COLLABOS WITH OTHER ARTISTS
Now listen to this, Psquare featured on songs with J-Martins,
Bracket, LKT, 9ice and these 4 songs were done by Paul
alone, but guess what, did I appear in the videos, YES'.
'Now hear this, we have other collabos with Kaha, Darey,
Ruggedman. I did these songs alone. How come they don't
have videos? Paul refused to appear in the videos'.
'So I told Paul that when next he does collabo alone, he
should be in the video alone, because it got a point where
artistes began to feel if they do a collabo with Paul it gets a
video but if it's me it doesn't get a video.
The last collabo we did was with Flavour and I refused to do
another one. Even Flavour had to speak all the Igbo he
knows to convince me before I agreed to do it. Only for my
brother to come and tell me that 'shey I thought you said you
won't appear in any video that I did the collabo alone? Why
did you appear on this one?'. I was sad but I knew another
one will come'.
So Tiwa Savage called me, apparently Paul had gone to do a
song with her, not the campaign song they are promoting
now, another Psquare collabo entirely. So she called me that
she's been trying to reach Paul to get the CD of the song
from him that he's already done his part, so I went to Paul's
house to help ask for it and tell him that I want to go to their
studio to do my verse and he said he doesn't know where the
CD is'.
'I went to the Mavin studio to meet Tiwa, when I got there,
she asked for the CD and I told her Paul didn't give me any
CD, so I called him again and gave the phone to Tiwa and
told her on phone that the CD is at Omole, so I got into the
studio recorded my verse and when I finished, everybody was
clapping. I was surprised only to realize that Paul had gone
to tell them that I don't sing or write songs'.
'I felt really bad and betrayed, but I covered up for him. I
jokingly asked Teebillz if they gave him Red Label and he
said yes, so I was like you guys caused it, and we laughed
over it. So when my assistant went to pick up the CD, Paul
and Jude started shouting at him to tell Peter that what is he
doing at the Mavin studio? He knows how we work. The next
day, I went to Paul and told him how I felt when I heard what
he said. Only for Jude to say that he made Paul the lead
singer of Psquare 8 years ago! A leader leads, he doesn't
destroy.'
DESPITE THEIR IMMENSE SUCCESS ,PSQUARE HAS ZERO
STRUCTURE
'When it comes to decision-making, it has always been a
Triangle formation, and the highest vote wins. I never used to
complain because we were all okay, but what has changed
now is the fact that we've grown. You can make a certain
decision based on how we used to do it and it may affect
everyone as an individual, but it gets to a point when the
decisions taken never gets to be my own and I began to
wonder if anything is wrong'.
'I always get Ideas, most of Psquare ideas come from me,
and when I say Idea, I mean materials we need to put out for
people to see, video, stage performances and all. But when I
come up with them, nobody wants to accept it. I didn't
complain because people still love what we do, but then
again, there wasn't much competition in the industry back
then'.
As time goes, we should get better, it shouldn't be same
triangle deciding, because if we continue that same way,
we'll lose it. All I want is a proper structure in the sense
that, we need to have proper management, business
managers and all'.
'As I speak to you right now, we don't have any office, no
structure. When this issue started about five years ago, our
lawyer told us the way we run our business is wrong without
a structure'.
'I'll give you an instance'.
We had to go perform somewhere once, and because I had a
slight argument with Paul, he said he's not going. The show
was the wedding of the President's daughter, because some
times when we perform for some certain people, they always
talk to me, they don't call Jude'.
'I didn't even know until we got to the airport and at the end
of the day we missed the reception, but we finally performed
at the gala night, because when I got to the airport my
brother wasn't there, and I became confused on how I was
going to explain to the President that we can't perform?
So I made up my mind to go with the band, perform like that
and lie that my brother was sick. So we left for Abuja and
when we got to the hotel dressing up my assistant manager
called that he was on the way to the airport with Paul, so we
had to wait for them to land in Abuja and that was why we
couldn't make it on time to the reception'.
'The president was mad. In fact Mama Peace (Patience
Jonathan) was really mad. But we eventually made up for it
with a performance at the Gala night.
Only for Jude to say Paul said he wasn't going for a show
and I still went on it with'.
'Imagine if Jude had a proper structure and we had
contracts? That wouldn't happen. And it was more because
the show came through me. If the show came through Jude
it wouldn't have happened. I don't have a problem with doing
things as a family, but then the structure and proper
organization is important too. The name Psquare is very big
outside but inside we have no structure, I see people like
Audu of Chocolate City, Mavin Records, even Ubi Franklin and
I wanted us to have a structure like that. Psquare is just up
there because of the grace of God.'

ON BEING LABELLED A DANCER
'It's really sad that people have labeled me 'Dancer', and
people don't really know what I do for Psquare. Kudos to
Paul, I'm not a good songwriter, in-fact I'll rate myself 30%,
so when it comes to song writing, I give it to Paul 100%.
'However, not writing songs does not disqualify you from
being a musician. I can tell you for free that a Nigerian wrote
two of the songs on Rihanna's new album. I've travelled a lot
and most times people ask, 'which one are you, the singer or
the dancer'? And it's really sad'.In Psquare, I am the creative
person, I can sit-down and tell you what people want to hear,
what they want to see and what they want to learn from
Psquare. But it's not something to brag about'.
'Jude directs all our videos'.
'This whole thing began when Paul went online and started
post lyrics of most of our songs on Instagram that he wrote
them all, just because Peter brought in something to the
table'.
'I've been trying to bring more business for Psquare I didn't
know it was going to cause problems. I sent my manager to
a meeting in Senegal to meet with Universal music about
getting us deals, and when he came back, the way they
responded to him wasn't encouraging'.
So I had to send Diouf, the footballer to help get the
documents and convince my brothers before we could pull
through with the deal. And after some months, we started
making money. Meanwhile, while filling the forms, Jude filled
everything as Psquare. So the first money came, we shared
it. The second money was bigger, it came and we shared it
too. That was when Paul said we had to re-fill the form and
give proper credit to the songwriter (Himself) and if the form
is not brought back, he's going to expose me and tell the
world that he writes all the songs'.
'And the next day he went online to post those lyrics. So my
question is, when he was doing that what did Jude do about
it? Absolutely nothing!'
PAUL IS WEAK
I remember I once told Paul something, when Jude was using
the term 'Our Money' when he just became our manager, that
was when we made our first 1 million. I called Paul and told
him that our former manager used to make about 15%, now
that Jude is our manager, let's think of a percentage that
we'll be giving him and put it on paper'.
'Paul was like, it's not necessary. Probably, he went to tell
Jude about it.
I'm sorry to say this, but I think Paul is weak'.You know they
say change is constant, you can't stay at one spot, as the
industry moves, you move. So I won't say the problem we
have is money. I think everybody is just dragging power
unnecessarily. Imagine Jude telling me that he's in charge of
Psquare and there's nothing Peter and Paul can do about it,
and I look at Paul he's quiet about it'.
'I've never seen where a manager talks to his artistes
anyhow. If there's any issue you should call us aside quietly
to talk about it'.
WHY I CALLED OUT JUDE ON SOCIAL MEDIA
First of all, if I as an artiste tells you to step down, and you
say Paul and I cannot do anything, then there's no other way
I can take you out than going public'.
'On December 14, 2015 we sat down to have a meeting
hoping to be able to set a proper structure in place, but Paul
noticed that it wasn't working the way he wanted, so he said
he wants to tell us that he's starting a new group.
I thought he meant he wanted to start a record label, and he
was like no, he's starting a new group that he belongs to.
And Jude simply said, 'anybody stop you'? He picked up his
phones and walked out of the meeting. I felt it had already
been discussed behind me'.
'I later found out that Paul is already recruiting the group and
Jude is their manager. At the moment I heard they are called
'The MVPs' I don't know what it means yet'.
'So how do you expect me to be managed by the same
person we've been having issues with, who is now the
manager of the other group. There'll surely be conflict of
interest'.
'And it actually happened two weeks ago'.
'Jude called me, after I had said he's fired. He called me on
a Thursday to say 'Hope you know we are going to the
embassy tomorrow for that show in Holland'. I know about
the show, it was already booked before the issues started, so
I told him, 'Bro you are not my manager, talk to my manager'.
He said, 'Noted'. And the next day, they went to the embassy
with the new group members, which means they had already
set up their interview at the embassy because it's not
possible to get an appointment in less than 24 hours'.
'So I traced the organisers, and told them that Jude does not
represent us, he represents only Paul. I told them this is what
it takes to get Peter and Paul, Peter alone or Paul alone'.
'So I went on social media to protect our careers, because if
I didn't do it, Psquare will not release any materials anytime
soon, they'll be busy promoting their artistes'.
And I remember going to talk to Paul about it before I went
on social media, I went to his house he was in his room with
his friend, and I was like can he excuse us, I want to talk to
you and Paul said, no, his friend should stay, anything I want
to say should be said in front of him. So I said, no, you know
we are brothers and he was like, 'oh, na now you know say
we be brothers'.
So I said, I came to talk to him about what's been happening,
but it was turning into an argument so I left and I travelled
out. I was away for over a month, knowing that we didn't
have any show at that time. I went to Turkey, London to rest
my mind, my friend Samuel Eto'o invited me to come'.
HOW I FIRED JUDE
'The day I fired Jude was at a concert. It was the day I came
back, we had a show, so I went straight to the venue in
Lagos and told Jude I want to talk to him, and he said I
should say anything I want to say in front of everyone. I was
like that was the same attitude Paul gave me before I
travelled'.
'So Jude was like if I like I should get out, and I was like guy
don't embarrass me. He said who are you, because you think
you are Psquare? So I told him openly that if he cannot
resolve me and Paul's issue, he doesn't deserve to be our
manager, and he said I should get out. There and then I told
him 'You are fired'! He looked at me and said, 'You fit fire
me'?'.
'That was when I entered my car and started Tweeting. How
else can you take him out?'
'Long before I made up my mind, Paul already said there's no
more Psquare, If Jude leaves he goes with him'.And before I
announced my management, I wanted my mind to be clear,
so I went back to Paul, this time we were alone and we
spoke a lot, I told him I had no issues with him, but he needs
to stop letting Jude use him as a shield. Both of us started
shedding tears, and when we finished he still said he hopes
I'm not here to tell him that I still want Psquare and I told
him I want to move on, because he already has a manager
(Jude) and I don't, so I had to structure myself too'.
'And I didn't want to allow the Psquare name to fade before
moving on. Look at Don Jazzy and Dbanj, when they broke
up, they waited for like 6 months and had to start again.
Now, that Psquare just broke up, let me use the name to
move on quickly, because there's no time'.
ON SIGNING SOLO ENDORESMENTS
'Before I did the Olympic deal, I've brought some deals for
Psquare but the people endorsing Psquare only see Peter
and Paul, but behind it's Peter, Paul and Jude so the price
goes so high that it never works'.But when a deal comes to
my table, it's not like they called Jude and I went behind to
talk to them, the deal came directly to me from Jude's
friend. He called me and told me about it, and before then I
had already established my own beverage factory and the
deal coming was from PZ, which means I could do more
business with them, so should I lose that deal because they
didn't call Jude?'
'And I asked them that why me and not Psquare, they said
they couldn't afford Psquare and more so the brand was
tailored to fit one person. So I went back to tell Paul and
Jude and they didn't say anything, they didn't ask me not to
do it.
Don't get it wrong, we've been doing different private
businesses, the only difference was that the Olympic deal
had to come out public. I've been doing mass housing
projects on my own, Paul has been doing real estate, Jude
has been doing his own thing, he even went to do Northside
record label, so it's not like it's the first thing I'm doing
alone. It's just the first one that went public'.
'So even when I decide to open my beverage factory, people
will still say why am I doing it alone without my brother'.
IT IS NOT A PUBLICITY STUNT
'I hear lot of people think it's all a stunt, and that's what I
really want to put an end to. It's not a stunt at all. It has
been going on for a while'.
'When Jude didn't come to my wedding, people started
saying we broke up and then others said it's a stunt, then
when Paul posted those lyrics stuff on Instagram people
thought it was a stunt too, but the truth is that, this is not
and has never been a publicity stunt'.
'I am telling you the truth, I am moving on because people
are already getting tired of this Psquare brouhaha, now I
have my manager Olatunde Michaels and I expect everybody
to respect that. I am a family man, a musician, singer and
dancer, if I don't move on, Psquare will collapse and there'll
be nothing left'.
'Already Paul has done two songs without me but no one is
saying anything, he did a song with his artiste 'Muno' with his
name as Rudeboy did they feature me? He did a song with
Tiwa Savage, did they feature me?'
'Last week Yemi Alade sent me her album track list to help
her share on Instagram, guess what I saw, she had a song
with Psquare that I didn't even know about. Only Paul did it'.
The NEXT LEVEL
'Because I announced a new management, people feel am
the one going solo, but Paul has already gone solo, he's
moved on and didn't need to announce any new management
because he still works with Jude, so I had to announce mine
and believe it or not, people are booking me for gigs already'.
'And guess what, I'll still perform Psquare songs, nobody can
stop me, nobody can stop Paul too, we didn't have a contract
with Jude, so I have the right to perform Psquare songs
especially the ones I took part in'.
'I'll also consider releasing solo songs and even albums.
Truth is – in the last album Paul did some songs alone, I did
some songs alone. 'Bring It On' was Paul alone, 'Eje Ajo',
'Shekini' was done by me alone'.
'Remember the 4 songs 'Free For Fans' that we released,
those songs were removed from the last album and I leaked
them'.
'I have some songwriters already, V-Tek writes for me, and
I'm still bringing up more'.
THEIR PROPERTY
'Because of what was happening, it was like two against one,
so I said let's share our properties. When I said that, Paul
said if we want to share our properties, Jude must get the
same share with us otherwise Psquare will split and I was
like 'SPLIT-AGAIN?'
'Our lawyer came and told Paul that it's wrong to share it
equally with Jude, but he insisted, so we divided every
property we owned in Lagos, Jos, America, Abuja. In-fact the
right and left wing of the Square Ville mansion belongs to
Paul and Jude now.
So that was how we shared all our properties equally among
the three of us about two or three years ago'.
'After sharing everything, I called Paul again and spoke to
him about a proper structure. We've been with people like
Akon and co and we see how it's done. Right now, Psquare
has millions of dollars in royalties hanging in the air'.
'All our endorsement and shows are shared equally between
the three of us as well'.
'After what it took to share our properties, I was embarking
on a project, so I needed more money and I wanted to sell
my house in America and buy something smaller, because I
spend close to $30,000 to maintain that condo every year'.
'So I called my caretaker to begin the process and she told
Jude and Paul to send their data page and passport
photographs, but they refused because they know I wanted
to the sell the house. And see the value of dollars now. The
house was valued at 100M then, but if I sell it now, I could
make extra 250M'.
'And we already signed paper works and document of the
house that it belongs to me but Jude ignored it, so I called
our lawyer, Festus Keyamo to inform him about the
development. He called them and they both refused to pick
his call, so he sent them a text and requested that we should
have a meeting, but Jude replied him and said no need for a
meeting that the America house will be sold'.
'Paul said we agreed and signed on how to share but we
haven't really shared it yet, after all Jude is still holding on to
the documents'.
'Three of us have properties close to each other in Parkview
and that's why I want to sell my own and move to Banana
Island'.
'I can't really understand why they don't want a structure, to
me I think it's ignorance, and if I decide to do it, it'll seem
like I'm looking for trouble'.
MY WIFE AND MY MUM
'People think we changed when we started having wives.
Before my mum died, she was at St Nicholas hospital on the
island, and my sisters were living in this house (in Lekki), and
every morning before my wife goes to work, she'll leave home
at 5am in the morning to go and stay with my mum even
before we get there ourselves. And when she closes from
work, she's back with her again'.
'So I just laugh when I hear people say my mum didn't like
my wife. It's my wife and sister that prepare my mum's
meals in the kitchen'.
'Now let me shock you: our wives, the three of them are the
closest set of people you can imagine. Even with all that's
going on. It's really surprising. Somehow, they respect
themselves and stayed out of the whole drama and I respect
them a lot. And that's somehow what has kept us together
for this long, otherwise Psquare would have ended like two or
three years back'.
WHY CYNTHIA MORGAN WON'T GET A PSQUARE COLLABO
When I set up P-Classic records because people were saying
Psquare haven't helped anyone, I saw the success of Tiwa
Savage and I was close to signing Cynthia Morgan and Simi.
Ask them they'll tell you'.
'I remember Paul came to the studio and said he heard I'm
signing Simi and Cynthia, I said 'Yes', and he was like 'What
will people see Jude as', and I gave him example of Drake
and Young Money, Cash money'.
'Oscar (Producer of 'Collabo' ft. Don Jazzy) called to tell me
that they can't sign the deal, because he heard it's causing
problem in Psquare. Meanwhile Cynthia and Simi were both
going through the contracts I gave them only for them to
return it two days later that they can't do it'.
'Two weeks after, I was shocked to hear that Jude had
signed Cynthia Morgan, and she knows deep down that she's
never going to get a Psquare collabo'.
CONCLUSION
'The truth is I feel happy it has come, because I've been
staying in Psquare in fear for the last four years. The
situation now is, if you want Psquare to perform, you'll have
to get in touch with two management, I don't care if you pay
Paul's management more than they pay me, once we are
able to agree Psquare is still there'.
'I just don't want to have a management that feels he's in
control because he's my elder brother'.
'And because of the legacy that I want Psquare to be
remembered for, that was why I went to talk to Paul the last
time. I don't want us to start doing beef songs, or we see at
the clubs and we don't greet each other, or ignore our kids
and stuff like that. And even if Psquare breaks up, I still want
us to have our relationship as brothers. If I've regretted
anything in my life so far, I swear to God this is not one of
them, I'm happy because I've been in pain for a long time'.
'It's good if we go and do stuff separately so that even IF we
come back we'll have respect for each other. I wish Paul the
best and I wish Jude the best as well'.

14 Foreigners Jailed For Oil Smuggling

Nigerian court on Friday jailed 14 foreign
sailors from Russia, Ukraine, Philippine and
Japan between two and five years for
unlawful dealing in petroleum products in
the country.
The federal high court in Lagos found the
suspects guilty of illegally transporting 1,738
tonnes of crude oil and some 4,500 tonnes of
petrol, also called gasoline, in their vessel MT
Anukpet Emerald.
Judge Ibrahim Buba sentenced 11 of the 14
foreigners to two years' jail or alternatively
pay a fine of two million naira (10,000
dollars) each.
The remaining three — all Russians — were
given five years each in absentia without an
option of fine for jumping bail.
The court also ordered that the vessel and the
seized petroleum products be forfeited to the
Nigerian government.
The Nigerian navy arrested the sailors and
the vessel in February 2015 and handed the
case to the Economic and Financial Crimes
Commission (EFCC) for prosecution.
It was not immediately clear if the products
onboard the vessel were to be taken out of
Nigeria and if so, to which country they were
headed.
Nigeria, Africa's biggest oil producer loses
billions of dollars each year from the theft of
crude from sabotaged pipelines and illegal
refining of oil products.
The oil is sold on the black market, depriving
the continent's most populous state of an
estimated $6 billion a year in lost revenue.
Convictions for oil smuggling are common
but in most cases the offenders get away with
a fine.

Why INEC Cancelled Re-run Vote In Parts Of Rivers

Nigeria's electoral body INEC on Saturday
cancelled a re-run of disputed elections in six
local government areas in the volatile
southern oil-rich Rivers state because of
irregularities.
The re-run for seats in the Rivers state
assembly and the national assembly in Abuja
became necessary after court rulings on
challenges to the initial results of last year
elections.
Rivers electoral commissioner Aneidi
Ikoiwak told reporters in Port Harcourt, the
state capital, that polls were suspended in
Gokana, Khana, Andoni, Bonny, Eleme and
Tai due to "irregularities" during Saturday's
voting.
The elections went ahead in the remaining 17
of 23 local government areas going to the
polls.
The official said some party agents had
attacked electoral officials after accusing
them of using fake election materials for the
vote.
"This allegation is untrue. All election
materials used by INEC are genuine. A new
date will be announced for the election," he
said.
Local media said the polls were marred by
violence in some areas, with at least four
people being killed, but the police said
nobody had died.
"There were some skirmishes here and there
and we have contained the situation. At least
12 suspects are in our custody," state police
spokesman Ahmad Muhammad told AFP.
Rivers state has long been a flashpoint for
political violence with the two leading parties
– the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and All
Progressives Congress (APC) trading blame.
PDP controls the oil-rich state but the APC-led
central government in Abuja seeks to oust it
from power.
Tight security had been ordered for
Saturday's polls, including movement
restrictions and a ban on speedboats.
On Thursday, the military said suspected sea
pirates killed two soldiers in a gun battle, as
tensions rose ahead of Saturday's polls.
Dozens of people were killed in the run-up to
last year's general election in the state
condemned by local and international
observers as marred by violence and
irregularities.
Rivers and the Niger Delta region were
plagued in the 2000s by rebels who attacked
oil pipelines and kidnapped workers as part
of a campaign for a fairer share of crude
revenues. Vanguard

Al Jazeera To Train Journalists At NTA and Gov’t Owned Media – Lai Mohammed

Nigeria and the Doha-based international broadcaster Al
Jazeera are to collaborate in the area of capacity building
for journalists in the government-owned media organizations,
especially the Nigerian Television Authority (NTA).
This followed a request made by the Minister of Information
and Culture, Alhaji Lai Mohammed, to Al Jazeera to
collaborate with the Ministry of Information and Culture in its
efforts to restructure the NTA and other publicly-funded
media establishments to enhance their performance.
He said the collaboration could be in the areas of capacity
building as well as exchange of programmes and personnel.
”Our plan is to reposition the public media organizations to
make them effective and competitive, irrespective of which
government is in power,” Alhaji Mohammed said during a
meeting with the Acting Director General of Al Jazeera, Dr.
Mostafa Souag, in Doha, Qatar, on Saturday
”For a long time, government media organizations have lost
their independence and credibility. I want to restore the glory
and credibility of the publicly-owned media organizations,” he
said.
The Minister also called for a ‘special relationship’ between
Al Jazeera and the Nigerian Government in the coverage of
the key policy areas of this Administration – the fight
against corruption and terrorism as well as the efforts to
revamp the economy.
He assured Al Jazeera that the present Administration in
Nigeria ”is an extremely open government” and that the
organization would not have any problem doing its work in
the country.
Responding, the Acting Director General of Al Jazeera hailed
Nigeria for providing a conducive environment for the media
to carry out its duties.
”Despite a lot of conflict and tension, you have managed to
create a conducive environment for the media. This is very
important for us in the media and we hope to see more
freedom and more protection for the media,” he said.
Dr. Souag said Al Jazeera is willing to cooperate with the
ministry in the area of training, adding: ”Our training centre
is one of the most professional in every aspect of the media,
We are more than happy to work with you.”
The Minister is in Qatar to attend the 2016 Annual Congress
of the International Press institute (IPI), which is due to
open later on Saturday.

Tonto Dikeh and husband lock down their love in Paris 'love bridge'

Tonto Dokeh and husband Oladunni Churchill, who welcomed
their first child together last month, have padlocked their
love.
The couple who are in Paris, went to 'love bridge' to locked
down their love. Tonto shared the photo below with the

'There’s nothing wrong in doing separate projects & still being together as P-Square' - Peter Okoye

It seems the more people thinks the light after the tunnel is
about to shine, Peter Okoye will pour more fuel into his family
feud.
Peter has said he has no ‘issues’ with his brother- Paul, while
noting that henceforth, they would have separate music-
managers.
Writing on his Instagram page on Saturday, he stressed that
he would no longer have any dealings with elder brother, Jude
Engees.
In a post that’s a response to his brother’s pleas for peace,
Peter said ‘there’s nothing wrong in doing separate projects’
and still being together as Psquare.
“For public record, I don’t have any issues with my brother
Paul the only issue I have is with the management which I
have disassociated myself with.”
“There is a clear line between family and business, Jude still
remains my brother, he is just no longer my manager. For the
record also, P’square still remains, the only difference is that
we are under separate managements and there is nothing
wrong with that. I see no wrong in doing separate projects
and and still being together as P’square.”
Peter also berated Paul for taking their family issues to the
public domain when he had been previously reprimanded for
doing the same.
“I love my brother Paul, I support him and wish him the very
best in life but misguiding the media is not the right thing to
do, if we have issues as brothers, the right thing to do is
settle it between ourselves and not give media something to
feed on.”
“I took family issues to the public when I went on a Twitter
rant but I apologised for that, you shouldn’t do the same,
making me look like a bad person and giving the public an
opportunity to crucify me is not a solution.”
Furthermore, the extrovert of the Psquare twins accused Paul
of being the first person to record a solo music project- with
Mavin first lady, Tiwa Savage.
He however, added that he has nothing against his brother’s
side-hustle while wishing him the best in his endeavours.
“You went solo first by releasing a song with ‘Tiwa’ and your
new artists. This doesn’t stop us from producing good music
together or giving our fans the best of P’square, it’s just time
for personal development. I am not against Rudeboy Records,

Gov. Rochas Okorocha Sacks SSG

OWERRI. Imo State Governor, Chief Rochas
Okorocha, has announced the immediate
sacking of the Secretary to the Government
of Imo State, SGI, Sir Jude Ejiogu. The
Governor’s directive, which did not come as
a shock to careful political observers in the
state, was repeatedly broadcast yesterday, on
the radio and television channels of Imo
Broadcasting Corporation, IBC.
According to the terse radio and television
announcements, which was signed by the
Principal Secretary to the Governor, Dr.
Paschal Obi, the sacking was “with
immediate effect”.
Okorocha thanked Sir Ejiogu for his previous
services to the state and wished him well in
his future endeavours. Meanwhile, mixed
reactions have started trailing the sacking of
the SGI, even some chieftains of All
Progressives Congress, APC, who spoke
yesterday, on strict grounds of anonymity,
expressed shock at the sacking of Ejiogu.
While some people described Ejiogu as “very
loyal to a fault”, others were however of the
view that “the man should have honourably
quit the office when the ovation was
highest”.
Another APC chieftain reasoned that “since
Sir Ejiogu came into the corridors of power
on the ticket of the former deputy governor,
Sir Jude Agbaso that was similarly sacked by
Okorocha in questionable circumstances, he
should have known that he was next in line
to go”. As at the time of going to press, no
government official was prepared to speak
on the issue. Vanguard

19 Year-Old - Pregnant Girl Stabs Boy Friend To Death For Posting Another Girl's Picture On Facebook

An over-jealous young girl has taken her love to her
footballer lover to a whole new level after allegedly stabbing
him to death for posting a mere photo.
25-year-old a university student and footballer, Kelvin Mugalla
Ikatwa, was allegedly stabbed to death by 19-year-old Sheila
Atema, with a knife at her house in Kangemi Trench, Kenya.
It was leart that the incident started following a quarrel
which emanated after Mugalla uploaded a picture of a
different woman on his Facebook wall. The girl has since
been arrested.

Ibinabo Fiberesima Reveals Shocking Accounts on Her Way To Prison

Since the incident happened, I have learnt how not to trust
anybody any more. I put my trust now in the Lord. And this is
better explained in the new song I recorded. The music
captures my story. Emotionally, I have been drained and to
some extent humiliated, even in public…I wasn’t happy that I
was involved in that accident.
I have said it over and over again that I’m deeply sorry that it
ever happened. I don’t know how else to atone for the accident.
I started begging my victim’s family from the very day the
accident happened. My family attended the funeral rites and
service of songs and I even attended the 40 days prayer when I
was strong enough to move about.
I met with the mother and the wife of the deceased. There’s
virtually nothing I didn’t do to plead with the family of the
deceased to let me off the hook. I’m still pleading with them as
I speak with you right now.”
With this heart-rending statement Ibinabo Fiberesima broke
down in tears after she was released from Kirikiri prison in
2009. It was same again Friday last week, as the appellate
court dismissed her appeal and affirmed the High Court’s
judgement, which sentenced her to five years imprisonment
for manslaughter.
She was convicted following the death of a Lagos-based
medical doctor, Dr Giwa Suraj, whom she killed in an auto
accident along Lekki–Epe expressway, Lagos. However,
seven years after she had that horrible experience, the ex-
beauty queen and incumbent president of the Actors Guild of
Nigeria, AGN, is back to face the music.
When the news of her conviction went viral on the internet,
even her enemies wept for her. But despite the odds, the
good thing is that Ibinabo has come to accept her fate, even
as she said, she’s always praying for the family of her
accident victim, Dr. Giwa Suraj.
Apparently, since the judgement was delivered, it has been
greeted with an outpouring of emotion, pain and regrets on
the part of Ibinabo’s colleagues. Following her ordeal, major
stakeholders in Nollywood refused to last Saturday as they
met somewhere in Surulere, to fine-tune plans to mobilize A-
list actors and actresses prior to prevailing on the Lagos
State government as well as the family of the late Dr Giwa
Suraj to temper justice with mercy.
The practitioners, including Mr. Zik Zulu Okafor, Mr Raph
Nwadike, Directors Guild of Nigeria, DGN, president-elect,
Fred Amata, veteran film maker, Zeb Ejiro, Segun Arinze,
Felix Duker, Ifeanyi Dike, Yakubu Mohammed, Mike Iliam
among others equally stormed Kirikiri prison the following day
to show their solidarity with the incarcerated actress.
While at the Kirikiri prison, emotion pervaded the vicinity as
the movie stars took turns to see the actress seated in a
small waiting room. Looking depressed and in low spirit, once
cheerful Ibinabo expressed faith in God that the days of
storms would soon be over. Her look confirmed one thing and
that’s there is nothing that rends the heart, that ruins a life
so quickly as being shut out of the world.
But while she was trying to hide her emotion, other female
inmates were busy having fun, as they kept shouting and
waving at some of the popular Nollywood faces who were at
the prison. Ibinabo’s lawyer was among the early birds at the
prison. He disclosed that he would be heading to the
Supreme court, on Monday, to apply for stay of execution of
the jail sentence, even as Ibinabo’s son, Sean Liam Coughlan
Saturday, urged Nigerians to pray for his mother.
He described Ibinabo as the “most humble woman I know, I
was not aware she was a celebrity until I was about 14 and
that’s only because my uncle told me. She does not see
herself or act as if she is above any other person.”
My relationship with my accident victim’s family:
Meanwhile, a week before she was convicted, the actress
painted a clear picture of the kind of relationship that was
existing between the family of the deceased and herself.
Speaking with Showtime Celebrity, Ibinabo revealed that the
late Dr. Suraj’s family banned her from coming to visit them.
According to her:
“I don’t have a relationship with the family. They banned me
from coming to see them. I used to visit the mother, but they
warned me to stop coming to their house. So, I can only pray
for them and that’s what I did always.”
Asked if she has ever tried to send the family goodwill
messages, the actress replied:
“If I had their GSM lines, I would have sent them messages. But
like I said earlier, I was banned from visiting them. They said I
should not dare get close to them.”
Also recounting what led to her present predicament, Ibinabo
revealed that part of the condition for granting her bail in
2009, was that she should appeal the decision of the High
Court, which sentenced her to five years in imprisonment.
When I was granted bail, the condition for granting the bail
was that I should challenge the jail term slammed on me by
the High Court, and urge the court to restore the decision of
the Magistrate Court which fined N100,000 and I paid. And
the appeal was only heard in January, that’s all.
The case was between Lagos State government and I,”
Ibinabo recounted.
Second journey to Kirikiri prison:
Surprisingly, the appellate court, Friday last week dismissed
her appeal as it affirmed the High Court’s judgement.
Devastated by this development, the embattled actress broke
down and wept like a baby as she was led out of the court
after the judge ordered that she should be sent to Kirikiri for
the second time.
Painful also was the fact that she was on her way to Port
Harcourt when she got a call ordering her to turn back and
present herself in court, unknown to her that it would be the
beginning of her second journey to Kirikiri prison.
I’m still AGN president:
Ibinabo also addressed some of the burning issues affecting
the smooth running of the actors’ body. According to her,
while she was away, they freezed the guild’s bank account,
making it almost impossible for the leadership of the guild to
draw money for their health insurance scheme.
She debunked the insinuation that she abandoned her office
following the High court ruling that sacked her as the
president of the guild, maintaining that she’s still the
incumbent president of the Actors Guild of Nigeria.
Explaining why she has been away for some time now,the
first AGN female president said it was as a result of health
challenges. She revealed that she travelled abroad for
medical test and they discovered a lump in her breast which
has been removed. Speaking further, she said:
“The welfare of my members comes before any other thing. We
must continue to push on our health insurance scheme for our
members. I have my own health challenges too. I went for a
test and they found a growth- a lump in my breasts which I had
to remove. So, if we don’t do these tests continuously anything
can happen. We usually take our lives for granted. You must
continue to go for routine medical examinations. That’s what
AGN is all about. We are here to ensure that our members are
properly taken care of. We can’t get our money in the bank to
pay for our health insurance because they froze the account. I
opened the account before the case started.”
“We are back on track and everything is beginning to happen
again. From next week, we would start touring all the states
with a free computerized eye screening exercise for all
members. We are getting back to our rhythm after all the
distractions.
Our members are the ones that have suffered. I think it is time
we helped them and pay attention to them. We have lost a lot of
our members to death recently. It is very painful because we
have not been able to pay for insurance scheme following the
crises in the guild.”
However, following the prolonged crisis rocking the actors’
body, Ibinabo lamented a situation where aggrieved members
of the Guild would refer to her prison ordeal each time they
want to attack her. ”
Every time they want to throw things at me, they would bring
it up. I didn’t steal anybody’s money snd I am not a criminal.
I was involved in an accident and I have internally remained
sorry that it happened. They said I am going to jail again. I
almost died the first time I was sent to jail in 2009. I almost
committed suicide. But thank God that He brought me out of
that depression,” she lamented.
