Davido Signs A New Boy into His HKN Record label

It seems that multi-platinum selling Nigerian
singer, Davido has signed another artiste to his
HKN Gang record label as he just announced a
son of an actress as a new addition to his
imprint.
It all started a few weeks ago when a young post-
NYSC upcoming singer, Mayowa, the son of
Nollywood actress, Toyin Adewale, did a piano
rendition of Davido's smash hit, "The Money,"
and mentioned the HKN boss in the Instagram
post.
Davido quickly commended the younger and
commented on the post saying, "U got a gift, keep
it up."
The upcoming singer's elated mother thereafter,
posted an appreciation video on Instagram to
thank Davido for giving her son a much needed
commendation.
In the post, some of the actress' followers called
on Davido to help Mayowa by signing him on his
record label.
It seems the multi-award winning singer, Davido
who went out today with the upcoming star to
attend the "BHM/NET Meets Davido" event in
Ikeja, has finally considered the pleas by fans
because he just announced on his Instagram page
that Mayowa is the 'new HKN boy'.
Mayowa was later seen rocking an HKN chain
and has since altered his Instagram bio to
included the name of the record label owned and
managed by the 'Omo Baba Olowo' and his elder
brother.
It would be recalled that others artistes on the
label include, Davido's cousins B-Red and Shina
Rambo, and another relative, Danagog.
