Kris Jenner Says Khloé Kardashian 'Hasn't Slept In a Week' Following Lamar Odom's Hospitalization

Keeping Up with the Kardashians Recap: Kris Jenner Says Khloé Kardashian 'Hasn't Slept In a Week' Following Lamar Odom's Hospitalization

From Scott Disick going to rehab to Lamar Odom's hospitalization – which was addressed for the first time on Keeping Up with the Kardashians Sunday this week's show was an eventful one.

The episode opened with the family preparing for two upcoming birthdays: Kim Kardashian West's and Kris Jenner's.

For Kris' 60th birthday, which was in November, the daughters decided they were going to throw a huge bash to celebrate – and that they were going to recreate the momager's infamous "I love my friends" video, which she originally did for her 30th birthday.

In the midst of all the planning, Kim finds out that Kourtney Kardashian's ex Disick, 32, had gone to rehab. While she and Khloé Kardashian were happy that he finally decided to go, they remained weary because, as Khloé, 31, said, he's already "gone to rehab so many times." (While Disick wasn't in the episode, it was revealed that Kim did go visit him, bringing along his three kids with Kourtney. Kourtney, 36, was happy that their children got to see their dad and proud of Disick for getting treatment, but maintained she still wasn't ready to see her ex – in fact, she still hadn't answered his email asking if she wanted to be a part of the therapy.)

Following the reveal that Disick had gone to rehab, Odom's hospitalization was then addressed as a series of news reports about the former NBA star somberly flashed across the screen. (Odom, 36, was rushed the hospital Oct. 13 after being found unconscious in a Nevada brothel, and spent the following months recovering from a near-fatal overdose.)

Text then appeared on screen, recapping what had happened to Odom for viewers and informing them that "filming was stopped for a brief period."

It then flashed to a conversation between Kris and Kourtney two weeks later, with Kris describing Odom's move from the Las Vegas hospital to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles (he was airlifted via a medical helicopter). Kris said she felt "helpless" during the transfer.

"I'm so overwhelmed with what's going with Lamar," Kris said. "It's heartbreaking. I don't think I've ever felt so powerless and it makes me really, really sad."

Khloé, meanwhile, hadn't left her ex's side in the hospital and Kris revealed she had been bringing her daughter fresh clothes.

"Khloé spent every second in the hospital with Lamar. She feels guilty for needing to leave," Kourtney said as Kris explained that Khloé hadn't been showering and "hasn't slept in a week."

Meanwhile, Kim's birthday was coming up and while she had originally maintained she didn't want to throw an extravagant party because she was so busy with work and her pregnancy, her hubby Kanye West decided to plan a surprise party for her.

Since it was just a week after Odom's hospitalization, Khloé didn't attend, but the rest of the famous family showed up and even rocked fake baby bumps in honor of her pregnancy with son Saint, who was born a few weeks later in December.

During the party, Kris took a phone call from the family lawyer and it was explained that Khloé decided not to go through with her near-finalized divorce from Odom so that she could continue to make the best medical decisions for her ex.

The surprise bash turned out to be a total hit, and Kris' ex-spouse Caitlyn Jenner was also in attendance – in fact, Caitlyn, 66, even hung out and joked around with Kris and Kris' boyfriend of about a year, Corey Gamble, 35. (The episode also focused on Kris and Gamble's relationship, with the tour manager doing his best to get Kris to relax and take a break from her busy schedule. Though Kris initially resisted, she eventually gave in and explained that she just wasn't used to someone taking care of her since she was always taking care of everybody else.)

At the end of the episode, the sisters all got together to record the new song for the surprise music video for Kris' upcoming birthday – but sadly, they did it without Khloé, who was still by Odom's side. Though they all "feel so bad" for their sister, they decided it was best to continue the party-planning without her so that she could continue to care for Odom.
