Sambo Dasuki Blames His Prolonged Detention Without Trial On Buhari’s Personal Mission

Former National Security Adviser (NSA),
Colonel Sambo Mohammed Dasuki yesterday
opened up before an Abuja High Court
alleging that President Muhammadu Buhari
was behind his unlawful arrest and
detention without trial since December 29,
2015.
Dasuki who spoke through his counsel, Mr.
Joseph Daudu (SAN), claimed that Buhari
unjustly instigated his arrest and detention
by the Department of the State Security (DSS)
against the bail granted him by three
different courts in various criminal charges
brought against him by the Federal
Government.
He claimed that the president through his
comments during his recent Presidential
Media Chat in December 2015 confirmed that
he was behind his ordeal.
In a further affidavit filed in support of his
application, Dasuki claimed that the
president betrayed his emotion during the
Presidential Media Chat when he openly told
Nigerians that he (Dasuki) and Nnamdi Kanu
would not be allowed on bail because they
would jump bail.
Dasuki claimed he had since been held
incommunicado since his re-arrest on
December 29 when he perfected the third
bail granted him by Justice Peter Affen.
He therefore asked Justice Affen to prohibit
his further trial until the federal government
allows him out on bail so as to prepare
effectively for defence in the various
criminal charges brought against him by
government.
Dasuki claimed that his continued detention
in spite of the bail granted him was
contemptuous of the three courts and urged
that the government be made to purge itself
of the contempt.
The former NSA who had been in detention
since December 29 last year claimed that the
detention had prevented him from filing
effective defence because he had no access to
his lawyers.
The defendant exhibited several newspaper
cuttings in support of his motion seeking to
stop his trial adding that the newspaper
publications were the comments of Buhari
during the Presidential Media Chat to the
effect that he (Dasuki) and Nnamdi Kanu
should not be allowed to go home even if
granted bail by any court.
Dasuki said that up till now the newspaper
publications had not been refuted by the
Presidency.
Daudu who argued the motion on behalf of
his client urged Justice Affen to enforce his
court order which granted bail to Dasuki
adding that justice was for all parties and not
just the prosecutor.
Daudu also stated that the claim that Dasuki
was being held by the DSS and not the
Economic and Financial Crimes Commission
(EFCC) did not hold water because the federal
government was the complainant in the
charge against Dasuki and that both the DSS
and EFCC were agents of the federal
government.
However, in opposing the application,
counsel to the federal government, Mr.
Rotimi Jacob informed Justice Affen that the
charge against Dasuki was at the instance of
the EFCC and not the DSS.
He denied that the federal government
disobeyed the court on the grounds that on
December 29, 2015 when the bail conditions
were perfected, Dasuki was released by the
prison authority at Kuje but was however re-
arrested by another government agency.
Jacobs asked the court not to grant Dasuki's
application because DSS that re-arrested him
was not a party to the charges against him
before Justice Affen who granted him the
bail.
On the newspaper publications, Jacobs
claimed that they were not tenable before the
court because they had not been certified as
required by law.
After listening to parties, Justice Affen fixed
March 4, 2016 to give ruling on the
application.
The federal government had filed criminal
charges against Dasuki, Former Minister of
State for Finance Mr. Bashir Yuguda and
three others bothering on money laundering,
breach of trust and corruption.

I’m done with the Super Eagles- Emmanuel Emenike

According to Sportinglife, former Super Eagles forward and
West Ham FC of England's striker who was offered to be the
new Super Eagles coach has rejected the offer. He revealed
last night that he's done with the Super Eagles and not going

He said:
"I'm done with the Super Eagles, and I am making it
clear again that I am not going back."It's my decision
and I am not going to reverse it, I am sorry if I have
offended anybody regarding this but no Eagles return
for me. "Like I said, I didn't quit because of anybody,
it was a personal decision. Oliseh didn't force me out
of the Super Eagles as it was reported, I dont need
anybody to speak with me before I take a decision. It
was my decision and I won't reverse it""

I’m Reaching Out To Those Who Defected To APC – PDP Chairman, Sheriff

The Peoples Democratic Party's National Chairman, Sen. Ali
Modu Sheriff, yesterday revealed that he has started
reaching out to those who defected from the party to the
ruling All Progressives Congress, APC.
The former governor of Borno State, however, refused to say
if he had also met with the President of the Senate, Sen.
Bukola Saraki on whether the latter would return to the PDP
or not.
Speaking through his Special Assistant on Media and
Publicity, Inuwa Bwala in Abuja, Sheriff said the alleged
panic in the camp of the ruling party was responsible for the
dispute that greeted his appointment.
According to Sheriff, the leadership of the ruling party is
aware of his capability to unite the members of the PDP and
also bring back those who defected to the APC, hence the
controversy.
"We have started reaching out to those who left the PDP
and we are discussing already.
"We are getting positive results from them, but we won't go
to the pages of newspapers to announce their names.
"The APC and its leadership are aware that Sheriff has the
ability to unite the members of the PDP and also bring back
those who have left the party.
"This was why we had the initial controversy on the
appointment. But now, we have thrown that behind us as we
have resumed work fully," Bwala said

Buhari’s Ministers Works Like Snail & Have Nothing To Offer – Dele Momodu

Former Presidential candidate and seasoned journalist Dele
Momodu has flayed what he described as the intimidation of
current ministers serving in the Buhari Administration by
President Buhari, saying the ministers fear the president, and
as a result are not as vibrant as former president Jonathan's
ministers. Momodu, who was speaking at the first City
People Social Media Awards advised President Buhari not to
concentrate only on anti-corruption probe as that is bringing
a paralyzing fear on his ministers who are too afraid to take
any initiative.
'If I were Buhari I would probe but not just probe, because
there is too much scare mongering everywhere.
'When you are too scared of your boss you can't do
anything. Most of Buhari's ministers are too scared of their
boss and it is bad for business. They are not vibrant.
Jonathan's ministers are more vibrant than Buhari's
ministers because they are too scared.
' This obsession with they stole our money, is too much. We
know Jonathan did not do anything that's why we sacked
him. So Buhari, do your own.
'If the gods cannot improve our lives they should please
maintain it. If you are hungry you will grumble, and I am
hungry.'
When asked if he would one day run for the presidency, he
said:
'I have a theory: The last thing you lose is hope. If Nigeria
wants to put me as president, so be it. If not they can go
elect a new Buhari or a new Jonathan.
'When I ran, even the media was against me. If Atiku a
customs officer runs they will make front page. If a police
officer wants to run they will make front page, but a
publisher? If it is my destiny, then I will one day be president
, otherwise my life will be expiring soon, I am 56 today and in
14 years I will be 70.'
Chief Dele Momodu is one of the people who campaigned for
Buhari in the last presidential elections.

Detaining Nnamdi Kanu Will Destroy Nigeria – Alhaji Balarabe tells Buhari

Second Republic governor of Kaduna State, Alhaji Balarabe
Musa, has bare his mind over the continued detention of the
leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, the veteran
politician says that Buhari requires more than integrity or
credibility to administer Nigeria.
In the interview with Vanguard, Alhaji Balarabe Musa say it
all,…… Read interview excerpt below.
You are aware that some Igbo are agitating for Biafra?
Well, the government provoked them! When this government
appointed its kitchen cabinet, was there anyone to represent
the interest of the South-East there? Detaining Nnamdi
Kanu, the arrow head of the agitation, is not in the best
interest of our dear country. President Buhari, being the
father of the country, should try to reconcile with the South-
East, the same way the late President Umaru Yar'Adua
reconciled with the Niger-Delta militants.
But prominent Igbo leaders have disowned the agitating
youths.
That is the major reason he should reconcile with them
because there is a disconnect between these agitating
youths and their leaders. They have been provoked with the
exemption of the region from his kitchen cabinet! He is the
leader of the country. They are not like Boko Haram that you
can't identify. You simply work with them. He should call
them for peace talks and they will respond. Out of the 20
million registered voters, only 15 million voted for him.
Should he then ignore the five million that didn't vote for
him? There should be a culture of fairness in governance.
What is your message for the President?
He has the people's mandate to rule this country, he should
make use of that mandate fairly and with justice. Secondly,
he is the commander-in-chief of the armed forces and,
therefore, the chief security officer of Nigeria. He is the
financial controller of the country, so he can do a lot. The
President of Nigeria is what the Yoruba in the South-West
refer to as Oga patapata! And in Hausa, they say Sariki
yanka (highest king in the land). He should be able to
compel everybody to march along. With this, the
marginalisation mentality of the Igbo will be corrected and
result in peaceful Nigeria. Buhari should run a government of
national unity in which other political parties will be involved
according to their relevance. The Igbo should be given all
their entitlements in representation, according to federal
character and as enshrined in the Constitution. If the
marginalisation of the Igbo in the kitchen cabinet of the
President had happened to the North in the event that a
southerner is the head of
government, where would Nigeria be?
So why is it happening to Ndigbo that are part and parcel of
Nigeria?
That is why I feel it is a mistake that should be corrected
immediately, and things will be favourable to Nigeria and the
President. The fact that a great number of Igbo had
abandoned Biafra and called for one Nigeria, is a call for
peace. I think Buhari should embrace it and make amends.

President Buhari Orders Probing of Herdsmen Killing in Benue State

President Muhammadu Buhari has ordered an investigation
into the clashes between herdsmen and indigenes of
communities in Benue State.
President Buhari who expressed deep shock at the latest
incident during the past week, which led to hundreds of
deaths in four communities in Agatu, Benue State, ordered
security agencies to get to the root causes of the problem.
"We will conduct an investigation to know exactly what
happened; the only way to bring an end to the violence once
and for all is to look beyond one incident and ascertain
exactly what factors are behind the conflicts," he said.
He added that all Nigerians must learn to live together as
one, in peace and unity.
"We are all one nation and one people," he said. "There
should not be any reason why Nigerians of any group or
tongue cannot now reside with one another wherever they
find themselves after decades of living together."
The President further expressed condolences to the
government and people of Benue State, particularly the
people of the Agatu communities, assuring them that the
government would do everything possible to ensure that no
such incident ever occurred in their midst again.
"Once the investigations are concluded, we will act
immediately to address the root of the problem," he said.

Fayose is Nothing But A Tout – Soyinka

Nobel Laureate, Prof. Wole Soyinka, Wednesday night went
personal against the Ekiti State Governor, Mr. Ayodele
Fayose, calling him a 'tout'.
Soyinka was reacting to what he described as Fayose's
attack on judges shortly before his swearing-in as the
governor of the state.
He also called on President Muhammadu Buhari to stop
impunity in the country especially by the nation's security
operatives.
The Nobel Laureate was the keynote speaker, Wednesday, at
the 10th anniversary of the annual Wole Soyinka Award for
Investigative Reporting by the Wole Soyinka Centre for
Investigative Journalism
According to Soyinka, the Nigeria Military in particular is in
the habit of assaulting and harassing members of the public.
He said that the spate of the assault does not depict the
country as a democratic country.

Soyinka insisted that the report of the enquiry into the
recent attack on the BRT buses by soldiers in Lagos must be
made public, saying the claim by the authorities that the
matter had been dealt with militarily was not tenable.
He also called on government to ensure that the nation's
laws are respected, including the order of the courts. He
challenged security operatives not to take laws into their
own hands.
He said: "There must be an end to unlawful detention. If the
court has granted someone a bail, it must be honoured, I
don't care what the offence is.
"Anybody or institution that does this can only be compared
to that tout in Ekiti. That Fayose, he is a tout. He descended
on the judges and attacked them openly without any
consequence."

Davido Stop Sleeping Wit Prostitutes Without Condom -Yung6ix Friend Blasts Davido

All these small small boys wey don make money, una no go
cool down shop una money? Why all this wahala?
It is fast becoming a full-blown war between rapper
Yung6ix's camp and HKN gang, all thanks to Davido's
relative, the rapper B-Red, who threatened to beat up
Yung6ix for unknown reasons.
Two days ago, B-red posted a clip on Snapchat, accusing
Yung6ix of being broke and wearing fake jewelries, before
proceeding to make threats.
"I am going to Bleep you up," B-red ranted at Yung6ix,
unprovoked. "I will Bleep you and your crew up!"
Now, Yung6ix's partner, Baddest DJ Timmy, has replied B-
Red calling him a failed artiste that he has been reduced to a
'video vixen' and 'back up singer'. And that's not all. DJ
Timmy short darts at HKN boss Davido, threatened to leak
his secrets and accused him of sleeping with prostitutes
without condoms.

The family feud had reportedly been brewing for three years
before spilling out. Grace Mwende accused Florence Nduku
of insulting her through a chain of text messages after
allegedly starting an intimate relationship with her husband,
Daniel Mwongela, 61.
Nduku is facing six counts of misusing a communication
gadget. Some of the text messages received between July
12, 2013 and early 2015 referred to Mwende as an "old hag"
who "could not satisfy the old man" and that she lost her
"sweetness a long time ago," thus it was her (Nduku's) turn
to enjoy the old man's "honey."
She also reportedly insulted Mwende that she is a witch and
husband snatcher who once sold herself in five-star hotels.
She denied the charges and was set free on a Sh100,000
cash bail or bond of Sh300,000 with a surety of a similar
amount.
But in an unexpected turn of events, Nduku has changed her
mind in court and confessed that Mwongela proposed to her
and she was unhappy to share him with her granny Mwende.
"I acted out of anger and I'm very sorry. We were sharing a
man with Mwende. He (Mwongela) had promised to marry
me," Nduku stated in her mitigation.
Their purported secret relationship came to light in 2011 just
three months after Mwende, a boutique owner and Mwongela
wedded in a church ceremony in Machakos.
Initially, Mwongela who worked in Malindi, used to visit
Mwende in Nairobi on a monthly basis, but unknown to her,
Nduku - who was one of her bridesmaids during their
wedding - was also eyeing the old man.
Nduku worked at her grandmother's boutique where her fight
with a colleague over a man made her quit her job "to
concentrate on her relationship with Mwongela" in what later
escalated to insulting text messages directed at her
grandmother.
Nduku told the court that she has been in an intimate
relationship with Mwongela and it would be tiresome to
appear in court daily.
Besides, she claimed to be in the process of preparing to
leave the country for unknown reasons and hence her
change of plea and stunning confession.
Nduku was fined Sh10,000 in five counts or serve three
months in jail for all the counts. She was however
discharged on one count, a ruling that Mwende claims to be
'fishy,' considering the initial bond terms.
"At the moment, I don't have the heart to forgive Nduku for
what she did to me. It hurts a lot and I don't think I will even
forgive her," Mwende told The Nairobian.
According to Mwende, the text messages were gross and
ruined her relationship with other family members and "some
elders have since approached me that I ought to forgive her
but it is hard because I raised her like my own."
She added that, "The bitter part is how her father defended
her and told me he is ready to receive dowry from
Mwongela. For now, I will just take a break before embarking
on the next course of action and probably find another option
to seek justice."

qualify ahead of Egypt. We will look
at the players we believe can help

her husband and her loyalty.
On Friday she dedicated a post to which she titled:

Mum kills her newborn baby because of the striking resemblance to her lover

27-year-old Elena Smocot who was married was with her two
children and her seven-year-old nephew in Barlad, Romania,
when she noticed the striking resemblance between her new
born baby boy and her lover.
When she realized that her husband wasn't the father of her
newborn baby, she picked the infant up by his legs and
swung him several times, repeatedly hitting his head against
a furniture until the baby stopped crying.
She then took her son outside, put him on the ground, and
began to stomp on him repeatedly.
Her four-year-old son and nephew heard the noises and ran
outside, where they saw what Smocot was doing and ran to
a neighbors' house to tell them what she was doing.
However, by the time they returned with neighbors and
police, Smocot had used a broken roof tile and cut
the infant in half with it. After she cut the infant up,
she pulled out his intestines, put his body parts in the
bathtub, and took a shower with them.
Smocot was promptly arrested and charged with killing her
baby in front of her four-year-old son and her nephew, aged
seven.
She told police that removing the child's intestines had been
difficult, and that it was easier removing a chicken's
intenstines than her son's. She unemotionally told the Police
that she had to pull twice to get her son's intestines out and
had to repeatedly chop at the corpse.
She told police that her horrific actions were triggered by
observing how her newborn son bore a striking resemblance
to the man she'd been having an affair with.
In court, evidence was presented that Smocot may been
experiencing severe depression, adding that in both 2010 and
2012 she had suffered from postnatal depression but the
court rejected that plea stating that she knew what she was
doing when she tortured and killed the innocent child.
.The court ruled that despite the possibility of postnatal
depression, she was aware of her actions, thus guilty of
murder.
Smocot has been sentenced to 18 years in prison.

Buhari Have Abandoned us After Our Husbands Died Fighting Boko Haram

Widows of some soldiers killed during fights with insurgents
in Borno State have said about two months after they told
wives of service chiefs and that of the Inspector-General of
Police (IGP) during their visit to the state about the shoddy
treatment they are receiving from authorities after the
deaths of their husbands, nothing has changed.
Wife of the Chief of Defence Staff (CDS), Mrs. Omobolanle
Olonishakin, who led the team told the widows that she will
never let her husband rest until the issues raised by the
widows are fully addressed. But the Coordinator of a Non-
Governmental Organization (NGO), New Hope for Widows,
Mrs. Fatime Al-Hussein said several weeks after the visit by
the wives of the service chiefs, the conditions of the widows
remain the same. "I spoke to a good number of the widows,
and they say nothing has changed since then."
Earlier, during their visit to the state, the wives of the
service chiefs visited injured soldiers in hospitals, donated
items, and commiserated with them and prayed for their
speedy recovery before proceeding to the Social Center of
the 7 Division of the Nigerian Army where they met the
widows. Addressing them after donating wrappers, food
items and other essential commodities, wife of the CDS said
they were in the state to sympathize with them over what
they are going through after their husbands died. She then
urged the widows, there in hundreds, to speak freely of the
problems they are going through.
One of the widows, Mrs. Fatima Abdullahi, said she is not
aware if her husband was killed or not, saying, "I am yet to
see his corpse. He was declared missing since 2014 and we
have not heard anything about him since then. But two
months after he was declared missing, the military authority
stopped his salary and drove us away from the barracks."
Mrs. Abdullahi said nothing has been paid to the family as
benefits. "I've been a full-time housewife. I do not have a
means of taking care of the children he left behind. We find
it very difficult to even feed," she said.
One of the widows, simply called Madam Serah, told the wife
of the CDS that after the death of her husband, the military
kept paying her his salary up to a year before it was
stopped. "My problem is I have not seen the corpse of my
husband. I am not begging for financial aid from the military.
I am a university graduate. Give me a job to take care of our
children. That is my prayer to the military authorities," she
said.
Mrs. Mary Johnson said her husband was killed in Monguno.
"When I went to the military headquarters for his benefit,
they told me that I must go to Monguno in Borno State and
obtain some papers from the Commander. On getting to
Maiduguri I was warned that I cannot go to Monguno except
with military escort. I am starving, along with my children."
Apparently not comfortable with the revelations by the
widows, army officers at the event interceded, stopped the
proceedings and led the wives of the service chiefs out of
the hall before dispersing the crowd.

Oliseh Metuh To Get 5 Year Jail Term?

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has
added another offence to the list of charges it filed against
Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) spokesperson- Olisa Metuh.
In the latest charge, Metuh is accused of obstructing
officials of the EFCC.
Reports say the latest charge brought against the PDP
spokesman, is contrary to Section 38(2) of the EFCC
(Establishment) Act 2004.
The penalty of this new charge maximum of a five-year jail
term or N20,000 fine or both imprisonment and fine.
According to Punch, the anti-graft agency filed two charges
of mischief and destruction of evidence earlier, at the High
Court in Abuja.
Following the amendment of the charges, Metuh will be
expected to take a fresh plea before Justice Ishaq Bello
today, Friday, February 26, 2016.
The Federal High Court in Abuja has also dismissed a case
filed by Metuh against the Federal Government.
He dragged the government to court over his arrest by the
EFCC.
Punch also reports that Justice Okon Abang of the Federal
High Court, Abuja, has reserved Thursday. March 9, 2016 to
determine if the PDP spokesman has a case to answer,
following the allegations of fraud levelled against him by the
EFCC.

EFCC Rejects Uche Secondus Offer To Refund 23 Luxury Cars, Insists On N310m

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has
rejected an offer by the immediate past acting chairman of
the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Uche Secondus, to
refund the 23 luxury cars he got from a business associate
of the former Minister of Petroleum Resources, Mrs. Diezani
Alison-Madueke.
Prince Uche Secondus, Acting Chairman of the Peoples
Democratic Party, PDP
The anti-graft agency had arrested Secondus on Tuesday for
illegally receiving the luxury vehicles from a controversial
businessman, Jide Omokore.
Secondus was quizzed for hours yesterday by EFCC
operatives.
The EFCC asked Secondus to refund N310million cash being
the worth of the vehicles since the value would have
depreciated.
The vehicles included a Mercedes G63 and a Range Rover
Autobiography.
He may however remain in detention for a while because the
anti-graft agency is still probing his relationship with the oil
baron.
Reacting to Mr. Secondus' arrest, the PDP in a statement on
Wednesday said the arrest was part of a grand script by the
All Progressives Congress-led government to decimate the
opposition.
"We are also aware that plans have been perfected by the
federal government to arrest and detain the Deputy Senate
President, Senator Ike Ekweremadu, Senate Minority Leader,
Senator Godswill Akpabio and other leaders of the party on
imaginary charges."
In the statement signed by Victor Kwon, its National Legal
Adviser, the party said: "Indeed, intelligence available to the
party shows that the federal government, using its various
agencies, is bent on destroying any opposition to the ruling
party as all indications show that the government is more
interested in humiliating the PDP than fighting corruption.

OLUMBA OLUMBA OBU (the one who called himself God) DIED LONG AGO

Olumba Olumba Obu, the man who gathered followers after
himself, claiming to be God, has since died even though his
adherents insist otherwise.
This much was revealed by one of his former frontline
followers who is now a Pentecostal Pastor.
Pastor Lovina Amangala Iburene of The Truth Ministry/The
True Lovers of Christ World Charity Ministry, Lagos, told News
Express that Olumba, whose Brotherhood of the Cross and
Star is headquartered in the South-South state of Cross River,
died way back in 2003.
"Olumba gave up the ghost and was secretly buried," Iburene
said. "He died in the night."
Asked how she came to know, the firebrand pastor who left
Brotherhood of the Cross and Star in 2001 said: "I was
informed by an insider."
She accused the leadership of the church of sustaining the
Olumba myth through sheer deception. Olumba Olumba Obu
has yet to be seen in public since 2003.
"The level of deception rose to the stage where if asked by
journalists and their members from afar, the answer is
always 'he is sleeping'. To those from nearby places, he has
ascended into heaven. Lies upon lies!," Iburene said.
Olumba had on April 14, 2000, crowned his son Rowland as
the "Christ", the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords.
Rowland is now effectively in charge of the church.
A former pharmacy technician and soldier, Iburene was with
Brotherhood of the Cross and Star from 1987 to 2001. As an
evangelist with the church, she toured parts of Nigeria
preaching the gospel of Olumba Olumba Obu. She also wrote
two pamphlets ( In Tune With the Godhead and Thank You My
Father ) proclaiming Olumba as God – an action which she
now deeply regrets, describing it as "I made a great blunder."
This afternoon, the website,
leaderolumbaolumbaobuisalmightygod.org still proclaimed him
"LEADER OLUMBA OLUMBA OBU THE ALMIGHTY GOD AND
ORIGIN OF THE UNIVERSE."
The site said on its home page: "As His creatures might have
their various purpose of visiting the Earth, The Almighty God,
LEADER OLUMBA OLUMBA OBU manifested as A REFORMER
called HOLY SPIRIT, as A LECTURER, called SUPERNATURAL
TEACHER and as A CONTROLLER called LEADER.
"These are The Three Qualities He combined together to
constitute His Mission of TEACHING man and creations the
Undiluted Truth, known as ACCURATE KNOWLEDGE. After
being thought, He TRANSFORMS him, and finally brings him
to the NATURAL WAY OF LIFE THAT WILL CAUSE MAN AND
OTHER CREATIONS OF HIS NEVER TO TASTE OF DEATH OR
HUNGER. His Mission is above every other mission ever,
because no one was or is able to accomplish this other than
Him The Creator. Transforming man and other creatures from
sinful body to no sinful body is the most crucial of all tasks,
hence only Him, The Almighty God can accomplish this great
task.
"On the whole, THE MISSION OF THE ALMIGHTY GOD,
LEADER OLUMBA OLUMBA OBU to the Earth includes

Super Eagles: NFF directs Oliseh to now report to Amodu

Sunday Oliseh, the Head Coach of the Super Eagles, will
henceforth report to Shuaibu Amodu, the National Technical
Director of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF).
Chris Green, the Chairman, NFF's Technical and Development
Committee, told the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Abuja
on Thursday that this development was for easy coordination.
Green also said this was because NFF's Technical
Department was structured in a way that all the national
team coaches must report directly to Amodu.
"Shuaibu Amodu is the National Technical Director and as
such he is involved in all the games of the national teams,
whether in the under-17, under-20 or Super Eagles.
"Normally, as the National Technical Director, Oliseh will
report to him (Amodu), while he (Amodu) reports to the
Technical Committee and from there to the General
Secretary and finally to the Executive Committee of the NFF.
"His (Amodu) function is to prepare programmes for the
Federation for the various national teams for the next five
years.
"So, for every game we play, he is involved by virtue of his
position.
"All of us will have to work together. Oliseh is the Head
Coach of the Super Eagles, while Amodu is the National
Technical Director.
"However, Amodu is not directly involved in the handling of
the Super Eagles, but he is directly involved in the
formulation of policies and programmes for all the national
teams."
He said he was sure Amodu would not usurp the duties of
Oliseh.
"He will only give directives through his programmes and
policies for the team, ahead of the qualifiers with Egypt,
Tanzania and Chad."
On the committee's meeting with Oliseh, scheduled for
Friday, Green said the Eagles coach had written to indicate
that he would be absent from the meeting.
He noted that Oliseh's reason for being absent from Friday's
meeting would be viewed on its merit.
"The meeting has been slated. If Oliseh is writing to say that
he will not attend, then we will look at his reasons for not
attending. But the meeting is not only about Oliseh.
"We (the committee members) are also meeting to look at
the programmes of all our national teams and the list of
invited players for the national teams which have
engagements in the near future,'' the NFF executive
committee member said.
Green however said what was important to the NFF now was
for the Eagles to qualify for the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations
(AFCON) scheduled for Gabon. (NAN)

Kenyans are ‘experienced thieves’ —President Uhuru Kenyatta

Kenyans are "experienced in stealing and perpetuating other
crimes", the president has said, during a state visit to Israel.
Uhuru Kenyatta added that Kenya was "20 times more
wonderful" than Israel, but "all we ever do is complain".
Kenyans were also abusers, and promoted tribalism, he said,
in an address to Kenyans living in Israel.
Mr Kenyatta has been accused of failing to do enough to
curb corruption and of stirring up ethnic violence.
His comments were seen as an attempt to encourage
Kenyans to develop their country, like Israel, says the BBC's
Wanyama Chebusiri in Kenya's capital, Nairobi.
He seemed to question why Kenya was lagging behind, and
had to even learn about irrigation from a desert country, our
correspondent adds.
However, many Kenyans believe that the president's speech
was just rhetoric, and he was not serious about tackling
corruption or ethnic divisions in the East African state, our
reporter says.
They complain that ethnicity determines whether they get
government jobs, and bribery and corruption are endemic in
government, he adds.
Mr Kenyatta was accused by the International Criminal Court
(ICC) of crimes against humanity for allegedly inciting ethnic
violence after elections in 2007, in which more than 1,200
Kenyans were killed.
But the case was dropped in 2014 after the prosecutor's
office said it did not have enough evidence against him.
He always denied the charges. (BBC)

Biafra: Release Nnamdi Kanu or face more Oil pipeline explosion from the militants - Archbishop Chukwuma tells Buhari

Archbishop of Enugu, Ebony and Anambra State
Ecclesiastical Province, Rt. Rev. Emmanel Chukwuma,
yesterday, cautioned the Federal Government to tread
softly on the issue given Niger Delta militants' threat to
blow up more crude oil installations if Kanu was not
released.
ABA CITY BLOG Recalled that the Niger-Delta militants
had some days ago, issued an ultimatum to buhari to
release IPOB leader Mazi Kanu or face more Oil pipeline
explosion.
Speaking with the journalist in Enugu, Archbishop
Chukwuma, read out a statement which contained the
need of Ndigbo and why igbos are saying that they are
marginalized, moreover, the Archbishop spoke on why FG
should release Kanu...........Read the statement below:
"People are saying Igbo do not have a leader. I can stand in
for his release as a church leader. We do not believe in
confrontation. Rather, everthing should be done through
dialogue. Igbo do not have somebody to vouch and also
stand and defend the course of Ndigbo. We believe very
much in dialogue. We do not support violence. We believe
that with dialogue, patience, understanding and listening ear
of Buhari, there will be an understanding with which
everything concerning the Igbo will be cleared.
"There are insinuations that Igbo have negative feeling
against Buhari-APC-led government. There is nothing like
that. We very much support Mr President, his anti-
corruption crusade and all he is doing to make sure that
stolen money is recovered. We equally believe that when
this money is recovered, the south-east geopolitical zone
will not be left out in the structural development of their
area especially in roads, power supply, job opportunity
among others.
"We believe that if we work together with the federal
government,Nigeria will be salvaged. It is important that
government implements last year national conference
decisions. That will be of great help to us. South-East
geopolitical zone is the most marginalized nationwide. We
have been talking about an additional state. It's part of the
problem we are facing. The religious leaders are standing
firm in prayers for the present administration and also for
Kanu's release so that there will be peace.
"We are appealing to the president not to allow bad advisers
make him vindictive and retaliative in certain areas which
may jeopardize people's impression about this government.
We feel that its time to give Buhari a very good support
knowing that he is the President of Nigeria and not the
President of Northerners or APC. All Nigerians must
therefore cooperate and work together to make this
administration succeed. "Our interest is recognition and
also being remembered in the development of Nigeria
whereby our youths will be employed and there will be
infrastructural development which will bring a palliative
measure to our zone.
"We are pleading with Buhari to show compassion to our
youths and also that of Nnamdi Kanu to see how the
confidence of the south-east people will be restored. The
Ohanaeze Ndigbo and Arewa Consultative Forum,ACF,
should work together and ensure that nothing brings
suspicion in our relationship. Buhari should be assured that
all of the south-east are behind his government with support
and prayers for Kanu to released.

convincingly at this year's Euro 2016 championship.
Before Hodgeson inherited the team after Euro 2012,
Mourinho had been interviewed about becoming England
boss before Fabio Capello was appointed, and he has
always retained a high reputation at Wembley despite
his brushes with authority.
If United continue to hesitate over his appointment
England are ready to move swiftly to get the
Portuguese on board to build towards a World Cup

Tension In Aba as Police, Army Physical Combats; Leaves DPO, Other Officers to Death Point – SPY NIGERIA

A wild drama ensued on 23rd February in Umuahia, Abia State
capital as some overzealous police officers engaged in
a free for all fight with their Army Counterparts.
The report as reported by heraldng.com stated that the
residents of the area scampered for safety and
everywhere was deserted.
Trouble started when a man drove in and parked his
14-seat¬er bus near the police station lo¬cated
opposite the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) Press
Centre, Aba Road.
Report says the bus driver, who is an Army Captain
but in mufti, was ordered by the Divisional Po¬lice
Officer (DPO) in charge of the station to re-park his
vehicle.
According to an eye witness ac¬count, the DPO, who
was driving to the station in his Highlander SUV when
he spotted the bus, was im¬patient with the owner of
the bus as he ordered him to explain why he should
block his way.
Attempts by the Army Captain to calm the DPO fell on
deaf ears as he (DPO) immediately ordered for his
arrest for allegedly blocking his way.
The over-zealous DPO, accord¬ing to investigations,
just assumed duties at the station a few days back.
According to our source, the Army officer pleaded with
the DPO to allow him remove his vehicle as he had
ordered but the DPO rath¬er insisted that he must be
arrest¬ed first.
"It was at that point when two policemen were
struggling to arrest him that he told them that he is a
Captain in the Army", the source said.
Continuing, the source said the DPO was more
infuriated when he heard that the 'man' said he was a
soldier, and insisted he must be ar¬rested.
The DPO was quoted as saying: "He must obey my
arrest order; you people should tell him to obey my
arrest order; you must obey my ar¬rest. You said you
are a captain; you must tell me how many wars you
have fought.
"I have fought in three Boko Ha¬ram states of Borno,
Adamawa and Yobe States before coming here.
"You must show me your iden¬tity today; drag him
into the cell now", the DPO thundered.
As the drama continued, at¬tempts by the police to
force the Army Captain into their cell was stoutly
resisted but the police tore his clothes as they were
trying to drag him into their cell.
The scenario attracted the atten¬tion of passers-by
and people in the neighbourhood who helped in
pleading with the police to release the Army officer
but all to no avail.
One of the policemen was said to have started
shooting into the air apparently to disperse the crowd
when somebody in the crowd was said to have alerted
the military of the development.
The scene was said to have been stormed by four
Hilux vans filled with solders shortly afterwards.
The soldiers were said to have been highly infuriated
when they discovered that the man being manhandled
by the police was tru¬ly an Army officer.
They were said to have descend¬ed on the policemen
including the DPO and gave them the beating of their
life.

EFCC arrests former PDP acting chairman, Uche Secondus

The immediate past acting Chairman of PDP, Uche Secondus,
has been arrested by operatives of the Economic and
Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC. A statement by PDP's
national legal adviser, Victor Kwon, says Secondus is being
accused of illegally receiving a number of buses and
demands that the buses be returned. The statement in part
reads;
"The oppressive and unfair treatments against its key
leaders by the Federal Government. The party alerts
the nation that the arrest and detention of its Deputy
National Chairman, Prince Uche Secondus by the
Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) is
part of the grand script by the APC-led Federal
Government to decimate the opposition,". The
statement alleged that there were plans by EFCC to
"arrest and detain the Deputy Senate President,
Senator Ike Ekweremadu, Senate Minority Leader,
Senator Godswill Akpabio and other leaders of the
party on imaginary charges. Indeed, intelligence
available to the party shows that the Federal
Government, using its various agencies, is bent on
destroying any opposition to the ruling party as all
indications show that the government is more
interested in humiliating the PDP than fighting
corruption'.

4-year-old Sadiq Usman whose eyes were gouged out by ritualists in Zaria receives a visitor..

Airtel's Director of Communication, Emeka Oparah recently
visited Sadiq Usman, the 4 year-old boy whose eyes was
plucked out by suspected ritualists. The Airtel boss narrates
his experience after the cut and also revealed that plans are
being finalized to establish a foundation in Sadiq Usman's
name.
Emeka Oparah writes below..
Even the strongest of men with the strangest of hearts will
sober up on meeting Sadiq Usman, the 4-year-old angel,
whose eyes were plucked by suspected ritualists in Zaria last
month.
Well, that was my situation as I arrived the rusty village of
Bula area of Jushi in the outskirts of Zaria, Kaduna State,
where little Sadiq lives with his parents, a younger sister and
an older brother, who I'm told, had refused leave the hospital
insisting the doctors took one of his eyes to replace his
brother's. Touching.
Even before I met him face to face, my courage failed me
and tears, anger, sadness, name it, overwhelmed me. He's
been home for two weeks since his discharge from ABU
Teaching Hospital, Zaria. Now, I wish I was able to meet Mrs.
Ibru, his nurse at the hospital, who kept giving me update on
his progress during those frightful early days of his ordeal.
Such a very gracious woman!
My brother and friend, Mallam Bello Moh'd Abdullahi
Nasarawa (I call him Mallam Abdullahi), who first brought
Sadiq's plight to public attention, was obviously stronger than
me, may be because he's visited Sadiq while he was in
hospital. A man of steel, though, with a warm and genial
disposition.
Anyway, it took a while, but eventually Sadiq warmed up to
me with the help of his father, Usman Isah Bebeji, who's
become a sort of security guard for the justifiably frightened
kid, since his horrible experience.
Playful, cheerful, gentle, funny-even with his eyes still
bandaged-Sadiq is a sweet boy. He loved my beard, and kept
rubbing it. He didn't like the crowd that gathered around us
and so clung to me…and I clung to him, soaked in my own
tears. Chai! I kept imagining what I would have done, if it
was my only son, Tito, who was so brutally dealt with. God
forbid, but I doubt that I would have survived it.
Well, what else can I say. I'm so glad I made it to Zaria to
see my boy. I'm glad I met him the way I met him:happy,
hopeful and adapting to his new condition. I, however,
couldn't stop cursing his attackers under my breathe that
almighty God deal them a bad hand. They may have
succeeded in stealing his eyes, but they can't take away
Sadiq Abubakar's dreams and vision. And that was the
essence of my visit.
Mallam Abdullahi and I have taken it upon ourselves to make
Sadiq our own and Nigeria's Malala-a future Children's Rights
Advocate! That he didn't lose his life in the course of the
evil attack testifies to God's abiding love and certainly a
grand plan to take the otherwise unknown Sadiq to global
limelight and acclaim. He still needs expert medical attention
and now must be sent to some of the best schools, where
his condition will not be a limitation.
The government of Kaduna State, ably led by Mallam Nasir
El-Rufai, has already pledged a scholarship to university
level. The Emir of Zauzau has visited and made promises
too. Other kind-hearted Nigerians have pledged support and
some have even given some cash. Now, we want to bring
these all together. The Sadiq Usman Foundation will be an
everlasting platform for the education, medical treatment,
local and international exposure and humanitarian activities.
Between Mallam Abdullahi and me, and with the support of
his father and the special grace of God, effort is in high gear
to finalize the establishment of the Sadiq Usman Foundation
(SUF). So, for those who have ideas, finance and other forms
of support, please get prepared for the launch of the
foundation. You will be apprised of the details and how to
make your contributions. God bless you as you make up your
mind about how and what to give.
By the way, I took time to retrace the footsteps of Sadiq and
those who tried to mess up his life that fateful day (they
have failed woefully, though), and I found that it happened
within a 500 meter radius, close to his home. Vigilance is
absolutely crucial nowadays, with the hardship being
experienced by some of us. Desperate people are resorting
to dubious, luciferous means of getting by. Cases of
kidnapping, ritual killing and such like are rampant. In Zaria, I
was told such are on the increase. Let's keep an eye on our
kids, especially, because they are vulnerable.
May almighty God arrest the perpetrators of this heinous
crime against a poor, innocent child and turn his pains into
mighty gains as he grows in knowledge, wisdom and good
health. Sadiq will be a source of pride and happiness to his
family and Nigeria. I look forward to the day he will make his
first appearance at our National Assembly to talk about Child
Rights as an advocate and from there we shall see him at
the United Nations.

Be Warned!!! New Study Says Mobile Phones Are ‘Cooking’ Men’s Sperm When Its Kept Close To The Testicle

Fertility experts are warning man that using a mobile for as
little as an hour a day is "cooking sperm" and lowering level
significantly. The new study shows that having a mobile
phone close to the testicles – or within a foot or two of the
body – can lower sperm levels so much that conceiving
could be difficult.
The findings have led to a leading British fertility expert to
advise men to stop being addicted to mobile phones.
"If you wear a suit to work put the mobile in your chest pocket
instead of close to your testes. It will reduce the risk of your
sperm count dropping or dropping so much."
The study – by highly respected specialists – found that
sperm levels of men who kept their phones in their pocket
during the day were seriously affected in 47 per cent of
cases compare to just 11 per cent in the general population.
Professor Martha Dirnfeld, of the Technion University in
Haifa, said: "We analysed the amount of active swimming
sperm and the quality and found that it had been reduced.
"We think this is being caused by a heating of the sperm from
the phone and by electromagnetic activity."
The team monitored more than 100 men attending a fertility
clinic for a year.
The quality of sperm among men in Western countries is
constantly decreasing, they found. They also found that
besides men keeping their phones close to their groin many
spoke on the phone while it was charging and kept it only a
few centimetres from their bed.
Even keeping the phone on a bedside table appears to raise
lower sperm cell counts.
They also discovered the quality of sperm among men in
Western countries is constantly decreasing and is considered
crucial in 40 percent of the cases in which couples have
difficulty conceiving a child.

Children sue TB Joshua, Synagogue over father’s death

Two South African children are suing the mega church of
controversial Nigerian televangelist, Pastor Temitope Balogun
(TB) Joshua over the death of their father, the BBC reported
this afternoon.
The report credited the information to Bolajii Ayorinde, the
lawyer of the litigants.
"The three-year-old and six-year-old have filed papers in
court in Nigeria's main city, Lagos, demanding compensation
of more than 8m rand ($521,000; £375,000) from the
Synagogue Church of All Nations," the report said., adding:
"Their father was among 116 people killed when a hostel
owned by the church collapsed in Lagos in 2014.
"A coroner ruled last year that TB Joshua should be
prosecuted over the collapse of the building, saying the
church was culpable because of criminal negligence.
"The pastor and church have consistently denied any
wrongdoing."

FFK reacts after Ali Modu Sheriff threatened to deal with him for calling him the founder of Boko Haram

Femi Fani-Kayode has reacted to the threat made by PDP
Chairman, Ali Modu Sheriff, to deal with him for calling him
the founder of the insurgency group, Boko Haram. The new
PDP Chairman had on Monday February 22nd, stated that
those who are accusing him of being the founder of Boko
Haram, particularly Femi Fani-Kayode "will not go scot
free".
While reacting, FFK who spoke to newsmen in Abuja
yesterday February 23rd, said;
"First of all, my first question is who is he? Who is
Ali Modu Sheriff? Is he a Nigerian or a Chadian? or
is he both? That's the first thing. The second thing
is that you come in as National Chairman or claim
you are National Chairman and that you want to
move a party forward and the first thing you do is
start issuing threats. which I think is unacceptable
and nobody is intimidated. The fact of the matter is
this, He wants to set Nigeria on fire. He also wants
to set the PDP on fire and that fire will consume
him and him alone. As regards his personal threat
to me, I am more than ready for him. I am waiting
for him. and I assure him that unlike anybody that
he has ever met before in his life, he will meet a
resistance that he never banked on. I am not
intimidated. I cannot be intimidated and I will quote
Shakespear for you. In Macbeth, he said something
which I have always found very interesting.
Beautiful line in Macbeth. He said I shall fight until
the flesh is hard for my bone and damn be he who
fist cries oh in this issue. We will remove him. We
will ensure that he does not remain National
Chairman because he has divided this party."he

Six Nigerian and Ghanaian pirates that hijacked the Panama oil tanker arrested by Nigerian Navy, one killed

The Nigerian navy says it has rescued a hijacked oil tanker in
a dramatic night-time operation in which one pirate was
killed.
The Panama-flagged Maximus, owned by a company in the
UAE and on lease to a South Korean shipping company, was
escorted on Monday into Lagos harbor with six captured
hijackers from Nigeria and Ghana and the crew of 18 from
India, Pakistan, China, South Korea, Sudan and Ghana.
Rear Admiral Henry Babalola said the navy is still searching
for two crew taken hostage by two hijackers who escaped in
a pirate vessel. The Indian defence attache, Capt Gautam
Marwaha said one hostage is Indian and the other is believed

Hunger For Sex? Read How To Keep your Man Active In The Bedroom.

As the current credit crunch has made things worse coupled
with the crippling economy and massive sacking looming,
it's been reported that s*x has dried up in matrimonial
homes as couples have now reportedly lost the hunger for
bedroom games.
You've served up a delicious meal crawling with every piece
of his favourite meat, plunk a bottle of wine or his favourite
tipple on the dining table, before cuddling up to him on the
sofa as he switched on the TV.
Today is bound to be the night you get a bit of rumpy-bumpy,
right? Most women would quite rightly expect a passionate
end to such a satisfying evening. But these days, it seems,
we're likely to get a lot less than we hoped for.
Perhaps a peck on the cheek. Or simply a hug. 'Not tonight,
love', says this man you've virtually broken your culinary skill
trying to please. Before you know it, he's hot -footed it into
the bedroom, already dozing off!
You lie there next to him, frustrated as you listen to his
snores instead of the music of the bed springs and the
banging of the headboard. Where has all the action gone?
This shocking role reversal is becoming common with men
these days, and experts believe it might get worse!
According to Pauline, a relationship counsellor, "such
complaints were unheard of ten years ago. But today, almost
half the men I counsel claim that sex leaves them cold. Men
used to come to us at the clinic I work with, with impotence
problems, but we now have a lot of men who say, as women
did in the sixties, 'I can have sex, but 1 don't want to, it's not
rewarding."
"These men tend to be in their 30s, 40s and even 50s and
married. They haven't simply gone off their partners, but off sex
altogether. This is because a lot of men claim they've lost their
sex drive. When you ask them what's going on in their lives,
they may list six or seven really big, stressful events.
This kind of pressure will override desire every time.
Unfortunately, men rarely talk about their relationships, let alone
their problems. This could be due to a lack of balance in the
lives of our men.
"For instance, we have the longest working hours compared
with a lot of countries, which makes for a stressful life. Stress
can build up – eventually people find it impossible to switch off
and relax. If a man is still worrying about work when he should
be getting in the mood, sex simply isn't going to happen.
On top of which the current credit crunch has made things
worse and men need to talk more with their partners so
they're aware of how they feel. But Beatrice, a middle-aged
caterer who runs a very successful
afternoon 'bukateria' doesn't agree.
"Most men are too tired to have sex when they get home
because they've had their fill at work. If walls could talk, my
restaurant would have volumes to tell. Is it the 'regular' girls
who bring in different drooling men who would obviously have
'deserts' after the money they'd shelled out for lunch? Or the
drunken punters who bring in girls uglier than their wives and
brag of their ability to still pull in spite of their age?
"A few weeks ago, a regular brought in a smashing looking girl
almost half his age and treated her to very expensive lunch. He
was back again in the evening for his 'one-for-the-road'. When I
jokingly asked after his afternoon date, he said he'd rounded
off lunch in his office where he had a very comfortable couch –
more discreet than being caught sneaking out of a 'slaughter
house'!
If a man like that get home, even if the wife employed the
services of the best chef, all he could do would be to eat –
the wife should forget any action. And believe me, there are
loads of them like that. If they don't have couches in the
office, they resort to motels. They tell you the wives are
already in the net – they're not going anywhere.
It's their wayward catches they lust after to get value for
money spent!' I didn't have any thoughts on her sarcasm but
she might have her point. Anyway, in case you're anxious on
what to do to keep your man active in the bedroom, the
expert advises you should start by creating time.
"Your partner needs to schedule in some relaxation time for
himself and for you as a couple. So get out your diaries and
make some dates. It sounds clinical, but it may be just what's
required. Once you've put these dates in your diary, stick to
them no matter what.
"Take the focus off sex. Instead spend time on your sensual
relationship. Start touching each other again but necessarily
working up to a sexual experience. Rather than just a glancing
kiss on the way out in the morning, hold each other for a while.
Linger, don't simply pass by.
Also remember to say: 'You're special'. You need to remind
each other that there's more to your relationship than paying
the bills. "Don't forget to communicate during the day. A
friendly text every now and then will start to reconnect you as a
couple.
Whilst you're at it, have some fun. There's nothing sexier than
laughing together and having fun. Go to bed half an hour
earlier, have a cuddle and unwind in each other's arms, talking
about the day or talking dirty. Whichever turns you on!"

Kenyan Man Attempts To Enlarge His Manhood With Intimacy Gadget, Hospitalized

According to SDE Kenya, a man has sustained a life-
threatening injury while trying to make his manhood
bigger with sex tool. Read on...
First it was city women with small breasts and butts using
concoctions to enlarge their busts and behinds, or wearing
enhancers to create the impression they had bigger 'assets.'
Now men in Nairobi have been bitten by the 'bigger is better'
bug. Just having a fuel guzzler, palatial home and
expansive parcels of land is no longer enough. The real man
now also has to pack a 'bazooka' in his boxers. It is the
ultimate, it seems, to be super endowed with roaring horse
power fuelled by the 'blue pill.' This is the age of the joystick
enlarger. But for a 26-year-old man, the desire to have a
formidable firearm ended at Kenyatta National Hospital
where medics tried to save whatever remained of his 'tools
of trade' after his manhood got tangled up in an
enlargement device.
The patient cannot be named due to doctor-patient
confidentiality, but he consented to his case being used as
a medical case study in the October 2015 issue of the
International Journal of Surgery in which local doctors
Faraj Alkizim, Daniel Kanyata, Joseph Githaiga and Joseph
Oliech described how they managed to pull off a ring that
had 'choked' the joystick of the patient in an article titled
Tight Affair, for more than 12 hours. The International
Journal of Surgery notes that Kenyatta National Hospital
admitted the 26-year-old male patient who was presented to
the casualty department from a peripheral facility after he
"complained of inability to remove a penile ring, penile pain
and inability to pass urine."
According to the doctors, the penile ring had been inserted
the previous evening at 7pm as part of a penile enlargement
kit the patient had bought. The kit had instructions on how to
place the ring around the joystick for three hours every two
weeks. He had previously successfully removed it as he
followed the enlargement regimen.
The doctors said that the delay to seek medical help led to
gradual enlargement of the joystick with darkening of the
glans. He was also unable to urinate and had developed
abdominal pain. "An attempt to remove or cut the ring in a
minor theatre was unsuccessful as the ring was too thick for
the
available cutters," notes the doctors in the journal.
They explained that, "A sharp prick with a blade was made
on the joystick. About 100 ml of clotted, dark venous blood
was milked out. This enabled a decrease in the
penile circumference and nylon tape was slipped underneath
the ring." After an hour of repeatedly slipping the nylon tape
under the ring, wrapping the distal end tightly around
the joystick, and pulling the proximal end of the nylon tape in
a circumferential manner, the doctors were able to slip the
ring off the joystick. It was quite a lesson for the local jogoo
who yearned to crow the loudest and send hens scampering
in his hood.
