Tom Ikimi
Tom Ikimi, a former minister of foreign affairs and one of the loyalists of former president Goodluck Jonathan, has been arrested by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) over the ongoing arms scam probe.
According to SaharaReporters which cited a source at the EFCC, the anti-graft Commission had been grilling Ikimi for over two days. He is said to be involved in the $2.1billion arms deal.
The source said he is allowed to go home each day after hours-long interrogation due to his health.

Ikimi served as minister under late dictator General Sani Abacha. He was chieftain of the All Progressives Congress until he decamped to the People's Democratic Party (PDP) to support Jonathan's re-election bid.
